As a Mexican, I would rate this as authentic. Love the atmosphere. The mole was delicious, this is my second time here and it has not disappoint. Service is fast, restaurant is clean. Drinks are great.

Update: ordered the pozole, and all I have to say is that if you are feeling a lil homesick for some authentic Mexican food, this is the place.

This cozy, hidden gem is an ideal spot for both relaxing and enjoying a delicious dinner. I was craving crispy fries with flavorful carne asada, and the entry plate perfectly satisfied that craving with generous portions and fresh ingredients. I was particularly impressed with the soft, warm lighting that created an inviting atmosphere, as well as the spacious, tastefully decorated interior that made the dining experience feel comfortable and welcoming.

Fernanda was in charge of our table tonight, and she made our rare date night wonderful. Very polite, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere, they have the coolest lights. Dim, beautifully lit up bar. The food is so fresh and bold. You’ll love everything. I will definitely come back and will recommend. Thank you Fernanda

We went on a Monday with a few friends. It was fairly busy. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table of 4 at 6 pm. The margarita I had was pretty good. Queso came out cold and already started to solidify (I usually expect it to be piping hot). I ordered tacos. They fell apart quickly. The flavor was okay. Nothing special for the $19 for two taco price point.

Had the happy hour nachos and tacos. Nachos were better than I expected. Tacos are always delicious and they don’t disappoint. The blue drink was Gulf of Mexico and it was yummy. The other was cartel old fashioned. Really really good. I would like to come back and try the entrees on the menu. I liked the decor. The interior lights were pretty and lit up like a wave. Our server was good and knowledgeable. Love the name!! Check it out!

It was after 8 on a Tuesday night. Only about three other couples there at booths, Nobody at the bar. Our waiter was lovely. I had the carnitas plate. Pork (special birthday occasion) didn’t need a knife, mmm. Guacamole just right, green sauce salsa was so good.

Recent reviews seemed like things had gotten better… not really. Under staffed… Slow service, took forever to put in a drink order. Drinks were not the worst. Food was remarkably lacking flavor as others pointed out and chips and guacamole came out after entrees?! Also tasted like bucket of guacamole from a store.

The vibe of this place is the best part! Really cool interior with all sorts of interesting touches (walls decor, lighting, etc.) And a fun bar menu, cocktails were personally my favorite part of the menu.

We went for brunch and had a variety of dishes. The Poblano Burger (was told it was good, the fries we all tried, they were a little odd, the seasoning is some sort of spice and has almost a citrus taste and did not really go). Dutch Baby, Migas, Pork Tamales also on order. Presentation is lovely, food was good, some a little bland but can easily be spiced up with the various sauces they provide on the table.
