East Delight was truly an amazing experience from the moment we walked through the door. Since it was our first time trying the restaurant, the servers at the counter went above and beyond to help us navigate the menu. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and made thoughtful recommendations that really showed how much they care about their customers.
The food itself was cooked to absolute perfection — full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Every bite was better than the last. The portions were generous too, leaving us not only fully satisfied in the moment but with enough leftovers for lunch the next day, which tasted just as delicious reheated!
Overall, East Delight exceeded every expectation. Between the exceptional service and the outstanding food, it’s definitely a spot we’ll be returning to again and again. Highly recommend!

First off, I love the food. The ramen is REAL– fresh and flavorful. Balanced vegetables, protein and carbs in a rich broth, and a hearty serving. The short rib ramen is my favorite, the ribs hold together when you pick them up and then melt in your mouth. The appetizers I’ve tried are delicious as well.
The service is pleasant and fast.
Ambience is casual; the decor evokes a modern Japanese style, music (pop, though I’d love to hear some traditional and modern Japanese music as well!) doesn’t tune out conversation. Small dining area that gets busy but not overcrowded, kind of cozy and gives a good view for people-watching.
I’m glad that they have joined the neighborhood and are doing well!

It’s my first time to eat here and we ordered from their kiosk. I wish the kiosk issues a receipt. The food tastes good. We ordered the ramen and hibachi. I like that they have a free miso soup. I’ll be back to try the other items in the menu.

Sakura Express Hibachi & Ramen is THE BEST Japanese food I have found!! It’s the one on Racetrack Road. Having lived in Japan for 4 years, the atmosphere, music, and the ramen soups and chicken steamed dumplings transported me to Yokosuka, in Kanagawa prefecture Japan!!! They even have Ramune the Japanese sodas!!!
The price very reasonable and service was fabulous!! It was so much food, I boxed left overs so I can enjoy it tomorrow! You have to go there!!! Will definitely be coming again soon with friends. So I can share this treasure! ありがとうございます！

I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious the menu has a variety and the experience is quality. This place feels like a hidden gem. The restaurant looks and feels trendy but I wish it was more of a hole in the wall dive because of how good the food taste. It is my new favorite spot for anything ramen. Great place for a family outing plus if you dine in the have complimentary miso soup as well as citrus infused water. Top tier restaurant and one that I will return to on a regular basis.

Generous portions and tasty , affordable food. Service is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is cute! FREE delicious miso soup and refreshing water station for customers. We got the Volcano Ramen, Steak hibachi, Tokoyaki, and spicy salmon + tuna rolls. Everything was under $60 and was. brought to us by friendly staff. The menu is an easy read and straightforward with an incredibly valued lunch specials.

I love this place! There is a nice variety of food and the ramen has so many little goodies in it and is delicious. I got a side of fried chicken and it was also delicious and piping-hot. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, even the ceiling. lol. Sakura Express is always spotlessly clean. My family has made this place a regular stop.
