You’d think a burger place would at least get the basics right, speed, flavor, and fries that don’t taste like they were rescued from the bottom of a sink. But no. This was slow, chaotic, and run by staff who looked as if they’d just been told what a spatula was five minutes ago.
The burger itself was tiny. Painfully tiny. For the price, I expected something that at least justified its existence, maybe juicy, flavorful, or even remotely satisfying. Instead, it was bland, overcooked, and somehow managed to taste less exciting than plain toast.
And the fries… oh dear. No salt, no crunch, just a moist pile of disappointment. They were so soft you could use them as insulation material.
There’s absolutely nothing good to say about this place. Slow service, high prices, mediocre burger for 16 dollars. It’s like they’re daring you to regret coming in.

Delicious burger with a gluten free bun! My husband also enjoyed his cheesesteak. They also had a yummy gluten free cookie.

I recently ordered from Ghost Burger, and while there were a few positives, overall the experience with the burger was disappointing.
First, it wasn’t clear in the ordering process that the burger already comes with fries. I ended up ordering an extra fries deal (buy one, get one free), which was unnecessary for one person. That could be made much more explicit. On the bright side, the fries that came with the burger were delicious, and the garlic aioli was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Unfortunately, the burger itself missed the mark. It was very undercooked—completely pink throughout—which was unpleasant to look at and eat. I usually enjoy a medium burger or steak, but this was raw in the middle and lacked flavor. Smashburgers are typically thin and cooked through, but this one was neither seasoned (no salt, pepper, or garlic) nor properly cooked. The onions also didn’t work well—they made the bun soggy and messy without adding much taste.
In short:
• Fries & aioli: Excellent, would definitely order again.
• Burger: Basic, undercooked, and flavorless. I wouldn’t order a burger from here again.
I’d happily come back for the fries, but the burger needs serious improvement.
Just took a star off because I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and they sent an oatmeal raisin that broke apart as if it was old and it taste like it too.

It’s a solid burger. I was hoping for a bit more from this new outpost, but it wasn’t as dynamic as I had hoped. It looked great, but something was missing. The fries were good. I think the cost to the taste ratio brings this down. All in on this burger and fries was $25, because you’re forced to pay their percentage for tip, though all they did was bring it to the table.

On a recent work trip to the DC area, I was staying near the Rosslyn “Ghostburger” location which is conveniently located in the food hall above Rosslyn Metro. I noticed the restaurant and looked up the reviews first before trying it as I feel there has been a boom in supposedly good burger places, so I wanted to do my homework before I invested the calories. However, the positive reviews were accurate – this is a legit delicious burger. You may choose one of their suggested burgers from the menu, or build your own, I decided to build my own, added some grilled onions, and it was superb. The staff who took my order was very nice and even brought the burger over to me, a more formal dining experience than I expected. Also, because this is a food hall you can order drinks from the other businesses with a QR code and they will bring it over to you. Overall, I highly recommend Ghostburger, particularly the Rosslyn location.

I got a build your own burger and fries. The burger was smaller than I expected for the price, and my fries were warm, not hot, so they got cold really fast.

I had the spicy crispy chick (and I added bacon & jalapeños) with onion rings. It was so good!!! Onion rings were crispy and the chicken sandwich had the perfect amount of heat!

Ordering on the kiosk was simple and easy. I ordered a “Fire Burger” and while the burger had great spice, the meat itself was overcooked and lacking flavor. It was a very dry burger that needed its condiments otherwise it would be inedible. Also, I was given a lettuce wrap when I did not order it that way. Not the end of the world had the meat been better. The toppings themselves were tasty and fresh, but for a place having “burger” in the name, the meat itself should be the star.

I was in a hurry and asked the guy “which burger is best?” and whatever I got was an otherwise decent burger covered in some kind of white seed oil goo that resembled mayonnaise with garlic and oregano in it. Not sure who is in charge of the menu at this place, but they definitely messed this item up. It was so unpalatable my stomach was uneasy, and it gets upset just thinking about it. Will be hard to even try this place again. Not a very MAHA menu. If I’m spending $20 for a burger it shouldn’t be a perfectly good burger turned vile and repugnant.

Spenser’s Shroom-alone was packed with mushroom goodness, but overwhelmed the egg and extra turkey sausage we ordered. We couldn’t taste the extra bacon that had been requested…. Maybe we should the smash burgers next time.
