Moved from inside seating to outdoor, on the deck seating to hear live music. Paid for a round of drinks for the musicians! Ope!!!
Food came out and we headed back in to eat. I had the steak special (8oz strip served w green beans and tomatoes w a small side salad and roasred potatoes)!. The kid had the other special which was Shugs chicken Philly and fries. Needless to say my $24 steak did not stand up to his $14 Chicken Philly with peppers, onions, melted provolone, Chipotle mayo and fries.
Overall a great experience for a hipster kind of vibe for Salisbury on a Sunday afternoon. It’s a bit pricey but you won’t find anything similar.
UPDATE #1- Unique little place – restored house turned into a very small restaurant and bar. Has about 7 or 8 tables total, plus seating for 5 at the bar. Everything is ordered and paid for at the bar. Our food was served by the chef. Appetizer was bruschetta – overpriced, but good. Had the chicken sandwich and the steak sandwich- both were good. They make their own fries and have homemade salad dressings — the blue cheese on the fries is the bomb!!! We went for lunch during the week and were able to take our time. Did not care for having to order and pay at the bar (had to leave tip before service) before getting food or service. Otherwise, would like to go back and try their mac ‘n cheese.
Cozy bar with a speakeasy feel. The night we went Soul Pax was performing live. Great show.
Great selection of beer. Limited menu but food was great.
Pro Tip: Sit anywhere you like but you need to order at the bar.
Worth the stop!
10/10 will be coming back!
