There’s nothing authentic about this place. The bbq is a 100% americanized version of real Korean bbq. With that being said the food itself overall was still good and the service was good as well. The bonchon wasn’t bad and the kimchi was pretty decent. The steamed eggs were sweet when they’re suppose to be savory and the kimchi jiggae wasn’t bad. Being Korean I’m gonna be more critical than the average reviewer.

We decided to meet her for a family lunch and were able to get a back table. The table had two bbq grills. Don’t eat before you go here because you need to eat a lot of good to get your money worth. I thought I could just order sushi, but everyone at the table has to get the BBQ. Also, everyone has to get the same level of AYCE BBQ. Actually, I understand why they have these rules in place, but it’s still frustrating. The sushi was very delicious as were the ribs and pork belly. The fresh veggies were a nice touch. Plenty of side dishes were on the table, but none were refilled. It’s a good place to visit at least once.
Our server was very very helpful and patient with us. Thank you.

Best experience ever. Staff was awesome. Atmosphere was incredible, felt like I was fine dining. The food was incredibly insane. It was so fun to cook our own food. We had the brisket, Hawaiian BBQ steak, and the ribs. I couldn’t decide which was better. Really great salad. Never have done this type of dining before and our server explained it very nicely to us.

Came here for a work event and everything tasted great! The first order of meat did take quite a while to come out, though… like 10-15 minutes. I think the steak was bit thicker/chewier than my liking but it may just be preference. The side dishes were quite tasty! A lovely atmosphere to meet up with friends and chat. Located in a lot with plenty of parking.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, no wait. Great value for the price, lots of meat and appetizer options. Service was attentive in refilling our banchans and taking our next meat orders. I like their banchans, brisket, galbi and mini sesame balls.
The tables on the sides have the exhaust. We sat in the middle section and those didn’t have the exhaust. Also the stalls in the women’s bathroom are tight; barely any room to close the door. And the floor in the bathroom was super sticky.

Honestly, some of the food was so-so and the sushi options sort of felt a little over the top. I really enjoyed what we did get and would definitely come again, it’s just not something I would go out of my way for or anything.
Spicy ramen and fries were amazing, the garlic pork pieces were The Best. The sides were also tasty, so 10/10 for all of those. It fell short with the beef being too thin that it was unpleasant and the veggies being HUGE and hard to cook.

I heard the lines can be up to 2 hours or more so we arrived at 5 PM. The wait was less than five minutes. The restaurant only takes reservations for 8 or more persons. It’s a first come first serve. To avoid long wait times, I suggest going before 12 pm or before 4-6 PM. I went on a Saturday. By 6 PM the restaurant was half filled and by 6:30 PM, there was a waiting line.
Our Server was quick and accurate with our order. Some of the dishes came within five minutes and tables were frequently cleared of dirty dishes. It was clockwork – staff was efficient – each person knew exactly what their job was and completed it with courtesy and professionalism.
To gain a good experience, you need to know your cuts of meats – some parts of the animal are tougher than others. The cut of meat you choose will determine your dining experience. If you don’t know, ask your server. Non marinated meats are good with all the side dishes given to you. Marinated meats are good to eat with rice, lettuce, rice paper and noodles.
The only drawback is the women’s toilet stalls. They are so tiny and small that I can hardly squeeze myself into the stall without bumping my knee – clearance from stall door to toilet bowl is probably 12 inches or less.

Daikon Korean BBQ in Vallejo is a great place to get some Korean BBQ. We made a reservation for lunch. The lunch price is well worth it! The service was friendly, nice and quick. The place is very well designed. The menu has everything you can think of and also all you can eat sushi with the supreme menu. I recommend the supreme ayce! They have a full bar also. Just be ready to eat when you go! We will be going back on the regular. Thank you Daikon for the wonderful lunch!

Traveled from Chico with my wife to visit this new restaurant, and it couldn’t have been ANY better! Yes, the wait was 15 minutes, but it was well worth it as we were guided to our seat. A small, intimate table was waiting, with small appetizers snaking around a clean grill. We perused the menu and chose the Supreme Acye, which allowed us to order the all-you-can-eat with all the options and a 2-hour time limit. The raw food arrived very quickly, and we set about cooking our meats and vegetables while enjoying our appetizers. While cooking, the waitstaff made absolutely sure we had all we needed, took orders for the next round of food, and cleared the table of any empty dishes. In between rounds, they replaced the grill top to ensure that our food tasted fresh with each piece of meat, seafood, and vegetables we ordered. The experience was phenomenal, and we ate everything we ordered… happily!! The photos do NO justice as it’s better in person than reading about them. Stick to the beef, all the beef, and then switch to the poultry, pork, and seafood. The marinated daikon and mung beans were exceptional, and the Bloody Mary was stiff and thirst quenching. This place is only open for dinner, but once inside and waited on by the LARGE amount of staff, you’ll appreciate the atmosphere and realize this restaurant doesn’t NEED to be open any other time. A definite repeat option!!
