I debated whether to write this, but after the way I was treated—and the bruises left on my arms—I feel it’s necessary to speak up. I typically avoid this establishment altogether, but over the weekend I was there with a small group. While intoxicated, I banged on the bathroom door—an admittedly poor decision, and one I take responsibility for

What followed, however, was completely unacceptable and unlike anything I have ever experienced at any bar I’ve ever been to in my entire life. A dark skinned male staff member, approximately late 40s to early 50s, aggressively grabbed me by both arms and forcibly threw me out, treating me as though he was a cop and I had committed a crime. His actions were not those of someone simply asking a patron to leave; they were forceful, physical, and shocking. I felt genuinely assaulted by the way the situation was handled.

There is a vast difference between reprimanding someone or escorting them out and physically manhandling a 27-year-old woman with enough force to leave bruises. At no point should that have been considered appropriate or justified—toward me or anyone else. This behavior is inexcusable and reflects extremely poorly on both the individual involved and the establishment that allows it, but I’m not surprised since this bar is a disgusting trashy place. At the end of the day it is what it is, but just a heads up if you’re drunk here to be on alert especially when this man is working

Found this place browsing for “pool table bar”. Found this little gem. Has a nice pool table and other games. It is located on a quiet street in downtown stamford. Medium size and has an open area patio in the back. Overall a nice quiet bar. Ordered food which was way better than what I had expected, actually very good. Will go back for the calamaris and freshly cut homemade french fries.

Fantastic wait-service, laid back clientele and convenient patio space make this a must stop for neighborhood patrons.

The bar is great! Cold drinks, decent fairly priced food but best of all good people…everyone except this one short dude who drinks High Noons and has the biggest calves I’ve ever seen on someone who is 5’4

Love this place! Used to be our go to bar for late nights and fun but then life and 2 kids later we still occasionally visit for weekend brunch, which rocks. Back patio is great, staff is even better. Bob the chef takes care of us like family and will dole out cherries to the kids as needed 🙂

This is a great place to go for karaoke on Sundays, or even for a drink during the week. Sometimes it’s a bit overcrowded and they close the patio earlier than you’d like in the season, but in general whenever my friends and I want a chill, no frills local spot, this is where we go. Service is great, the bartenders are always quick and nice, and drink prices are low compared to other Stamford bars. Definitely a good place to check out of you want to play pool or darts, too. Only downside is that they don’t have a steel tip dart board, so you have to pay to play.

Casey’s is the first place I walked into in Stamford after I moved to the East Coast from California. Immediately fell in love with the place and the staff. They have a decent pool table, stiff drinks and a very nice quieter patio if you want a quieter evening. The owner takes real good care of the patrons and the staff and everyone in here are the locals and very very friendly. I met a lot of cool people in here so far. The food here is really amazing too. It’s more than what I would expect from just a regular dive bar.

Excellent local tavern. Good food including healthy choices as well as bar food. Pool table, sports TVs, good sized backyard with umbrellas for shade. Delightful place for lunch or later afternoon. Gets crowded at night.

The place and the food is fantastic but the Two bartenders working on Fridays night are really rude, specially that girl Liz. My friend was asking her for the menu and she totally ignored him until I went to her and asked for it then he asked for the check and was the same totally ignored. We asked her if everything was alright and she literally sent us to hell ‍♀️ She said she was talking to her friend and it was rude that I “screamed” (called her) asking for the check
