The lemon garlic chicken has the flavors I will dream of as it is indescribably good. Almost a Greek Avgolemono Soup condensed to make a creamy rice dish that has lemon balanced with garlic to delight the taste buds. Their hummus is also flavorful and comes on the side with a delicious, fresh salad.

Wandering through the Ferry Market in New Hope, I couldn’t resist being drawn to The Good Gyro by the mouthwatering aroma. With so many delicious options on the menu, choosing just one was no easy task! I finally settled on the combination platter, loaded with creamy hummus, a smoky eggplant salad, tender chicken and lamb kebabs, and a refreshing minty tomato salad. Every bite was a flavorful adventure, leaving me already planning my next visit. This spot is definitely one I’ll be coming back to again and again!

The Good Gyro might be one of the most popular food vendors in the food court so the wait was kind of bad about 20 minutes after ordering. There is a great variety of options on the menu and we love the flexibility of creating our own platter.
We had a 3-item platter: eggplant stew, cauliflower stew and falafel with salad & pita. The food was overall delicious especially the falafel, not dry at all and flavorful. However, the 2 stews were not served warm enough which was a little disappointing.

Wow! Amazing stopped in with friends. The owner was super nice. We tried the dubi chocolate with ice cream and it was amazing, then tried the hummus with fresh chips….OMG so good. I wish I didnt just eat dinner before going there. We will definitely have to go back with an empty stomach.

The food at The Good Gyro is absolutely delicious! We tried a wide variety of dishes and every single bite was fantastic! Everything is made fresh and is bursting with authentic mediterranean spices and flavors. We loved the tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, hummus (oh my goodness – the pita chips are outstanding!), spinach pies, falafel with an amazing tahini and sumac sauce, and more! The owner and her family are incredibly friendly and sweet. If only we lived closer, we would be regulars for sure! We highly recommend paying them a visit if you visit New Hope!

We had a great lunch here and the gentleman who helped us was so kind and sweet. We ordered Gyro Platter and Lamb platter. Both meats were seasoned well and tasted great. We even had our meals brought over to our table! We know that was not the norm as it was a slow day. We really appreciated the great service and delicious food! The rice was ooooohhh so good. If you like garlic in your meals this place hits the spot for us! The only thing we would pass on is the pita bread… nothing special. The baklava was A++++

This was the worst lahmacun I’ve ever had in my life, thin as paper, pale white bread with barely any meat on it… The price is very high in proportion to the food, and they charge a 4% fee on your card with no warning or message anywhere I could see which is a shady business practice. Be warned.
I do appreciate that the owner responds to reviews and for that reason I’m upping to a few stars. Hopefully they make some change. To be fair I also didn’t try anything else on the menu so perhaps I was unlucky and their other food is better.
