Friendly waitress, knowledgeable about the menu. Had plenty of seating.
We dined in, ordered for two people. Waited quite some time for our food which was odd as there were only 4 other people seated waiting for their food. But to be fair, people came in and out for takeout.
Our food came out separately, one person ate while the other sat and waited at least another 10+ minutes. Ordered the loaded French fries with chorizo, fries were cold. Tacos with chicken, 2 portions, the chicken was a bit on the bland side, not the best. However other person ordered the beef quesadillas and they were delicious and super hot! We were served fresh hot chips, but they didn’t come with anything to dip in (disappointing as the chips were good)
In my opinion, the food orders took too long, especially since the restaurant was quite empty.

Some of the best Mexican food in the area. Much better than any taco truck around. Take a step off the beaten path and take a chance on this Pontiac restaurant gem! Great tacos, birria, al pastor, deshebrada. Great complimentary chips and salsas (4 of them!) to start your meal.

The hot hot sauce was tasty and the carnitas tacos were excellent. Service was good and the place was super clean. My first time here, usually I go to the Carnival Market or to Sheila’s, but Sheila’s is take out only now and don’t want to eat in the car. I want to try their pozole next time.

I loved this place when it was El Patron. The next owner I think got me sick. But Rincon is my new favorite hidden gem! I’m an authentic taco snob, and this place hits the spot! Carnitas and Al Pastor tacos are so good! Chips and salsa are excellent as well! Will be back!

Amazing food and great service, a must if you’re in the area.
I had the Mojarra (pictured), some pork tamales, and an orchata to drink. The fish was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin, accompanied with refried beans, rice, lettuce, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. The tamales were great, masa was moist, the red sauce the pork is cooked in was very flavorful.
My friend’s had their torta norteña, it’s huge, and he said it was delicious.
I’ll be visiting anytime I’m in the area.
