We just left from eating here and I cannot say enough great things about it! From the people to THE FOOD! Best catfish I have ever had in my life. We had the cheeseburger, wings, catfish, okra and fries and all of it was delicious!! We can’t wait to go back. The owners are so easy and fun to talk to. You will not be disappointed by this place.

This is the best gem I’ve found in a while. The building itself used to be a market and still looks like an old corner store outside. Inside, they’ve done a killer job with renovations. They have nice flooring and old style ceilings. The counters and tables are wood with metal accents and it looks fantastic. They’ve got 3 pool tables and tons of TVs with all the games on. When I was there, they had music playing and some nights they have karaoke. The food was stellar! We got fried okra, tenders, and a burger. Everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The guy who runs the place even came over to sit with us and check in briefly and he was super chill and funny. It’s a bit of a drive for me from the city but I will absolutely be going back.

We got the party wings and fries to go. Wr we’re just going to have a late lunch. My daughter, who is a little less than two, decided our lunch was better than her toddler lunch. She then ate multiple wings! She keeps saying yummy and grabbing more. We will be back for sure!

Food was hot and well seasoned. The owner lady was very friendly and welcoming. The server lady was kind and patient as we decided what we wanted to eat. The place was clean. Like REALLY clean. The atmosphere was warm and somewhere you want to go to just eat a good meal and be surrounded by great vibes. My little family enjoyed our experience.

We had heard good things about this restaurant and it’s near our home so I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. First we should have guessed when there were no other customers in the restaurant at prime dinner time on a Friday evening that there might be a problem. There was 1 person waiting for take-out but no other customers. They took our order fairly quickly. I was looking forward to one of the daily specials with the good southern food but they informed us there wasn’t one that night (interesting we could see the Friday special on their board but they had turned it around- not sure what the problem was). We waited almost 50 minutes for our food with no other customers in the restaurant and could hear at least 2 people talking in the back which I assumed were chefs. In the meantime the server was mostly ignoring us, on her phone much of the time and ate her dinner right at the counter in front of us. We wondered why she was able to get food and we weren’t. A second server came in and the 2 joked, talked etc. and the first appeared to vape right at the front counter. When our food arrived we had never received silverware and had to requested it. The girl brought only 1 setup so we had to request a second for my husband. She then mentioned that their fryer had stopped working temporarily and they had had to get it going and back up to temp. It would have been helpful if she would have let us know this during our long wait so that we would have known and decided whether we wanted to wait. She never came back at all to ask if we needed anything during our meal but continued to joke and talk with the other server.. My husband liked the fried ribs but they were out of the dipping sauce he requested. I had a hamburger that was adequate but could have gotten it for less elsewhere. It was small- I usually eat half and I ate it all. The entire time we were there no other customers came in- a few drove up as we were leaving. Near when we were finishing, the apparent chef came out and asked how the ribs were, and was friendly and a lady, apparently the owner or manager, came out and was friendly. The 2 young women servers definitely need some help with customer service skills. Unfortunately we won’t be back unless we hear first hand of major improvements.

I woulda never go back to this place $30 for burger, and fish plate.tThat was still red inside, fish so sloppy, soft not even cooked hard.. falling apart. Someone told me bout this place I told them idk what yall had mines was horrible..Never again!
