Disgusting, nasty food. I knew I made a mistake ordering from here as soon as I walked in to pick up. The place is filthy. I took one bite and threw the food right out after leaving. People working there were sketchy and weird as well. Weird vibes overall. It’s like the employees couldn’t keep their eyes to themselves. Staring problem, much? Very creepy.
Bottom line: Disgusting food. Wanted to puke after one bite.

I ordered based on a 4.4 out of 5 star review. I don’t know who’s giving 5 star reviews but this place does not deserve 5 stars. The carne asada is bad. $5.95 for one taco on one of those tiny tortillas with literally 20 tiny pieces of meat on each one. Its like they count the pieces for each taco and gordita. The gordita had little pieces of meat spread out, literally, with space between each piece of carne asada. The meat tasted old and chewy and fatty. I will never go again. I thought they were the same owners as Los Azares on 7148 N Harlem. That place is so much better. Avoid this place (the Nagle location). I will not be going back to this one.
Oh and they charge extra for onion and cilantro. What is that all about???? For that extra charge you would think they would load it up with onion and cilantro, Check out the pic. Would you pay extra for that???

The restaurant is clean and service is pretty quick. Prices are decent too. My favorite thing here so far is the sope. Hard to find a place that really gets those right. It’s crispy and so delicious I highly recommend it. Tried the shrimp fajitas which were really good too. The guacamole is super fresh and so fire – get it!

Absolutely delicious, the truest type of hidden gem! You can’t go wrong choosing anything off the menu here, The food is authentic, prepared with care and fresh!
We started with the guacamole and it was great, not too much onion not too much garlic, just fresh and delicious.
They have a daily special that was barbacoa and it was also a very generous portion and it was cooked perfectly and basically fell apart on your fork.
The tacos were also good and accompanied with the red hot or the green mild salsas you can’t go wrong.
This is definitely a stop next time we are in the area!

6/2022 5* Place was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Love the cash discount they have. I had a Chimichanga. Yummy for sure. And tried a Chorizo taco on top of that. The taco was a bit greasy, but that comes with the Chorizo I guess. Either way, I enjoyed it a lot. Finished everything! A tasty place to go next time I am in the neighborhood!

So glad this place opened up here. I just noticed it last week when I took a different way to my GF’s house, so only been here once. The two of us decided to head out to try it and we were very pleased with Pastor, Barbacoa and Carnitas tacos. The meat was tender and flavorful. The rice and beans were also good unlike some other places where it’s written off. I definitely intend to come back and I’ll update this review.
