Honestly, best burger I’ve ever had. My only ask is for a vegetarian entree or two. My wife is a vegetarian, and this option doesn’t work if there isn’t at least a salad or veggie burger.

Burger joint inside Tuffys music box and bar. Ordered from a kiosk, picked up from a counter in the back. Never interacted with a person. Walked into front door to bar, want sure about restaurant. Found signs leading into back. Ordered at a tablet in front. Food was good, hot and fresh. Fries seasoned, no need for any condiments. Soda was served in a can so less appealing.

Total hidden gem in Sanford! Burgerbach’s is hands down the closest thing to In-N-Out you’ll find on the East Coast. Simple menu, juicy smash burgers, quick, and cooked perfectly. Will absolutely be back, so quick in service!

Overall good experience. Would eat here again. I ordered the double smashburger w/ fries, and the burger was good sized, smashed but not too smashed, and I really liked all the cheese and burger sauce, and the bun was nice and soft. Unfortunately, they did burn my onions a bit (there was a pretty good sized burnt onion that I actually removed before taking my photo), and I personally think the fries were a bit overfried also. Ultimately I still ate and enjoyed everything, but it could have been better. Service is also very impersonal— you order on a touchscreen, and you get a text message when your food is ready, and then it’s just sitting there next to the touchscreen. There is zero human interaction. I don’t mind this, but I bet some people will not like it.

Burgers were mediocre. Was not worth the 45-50 min wait for it or the 30’ish min drive. Got the fries I ordered with my burger about 20-30 min later & they were cold. Burger was long gone by the time I finally got the fries! Left a tip when we ordered but I’m not sure why because nobody served us. If I could have asked for a refund I would have before we got the food! Felt bad for the poor employee who was in the kitchen by herself. If you can’t keep it running due to lack of employees shut it down! I will never go back or recommend this place.

A sub par smashburger. It came wrapped in paper/foil as if to go, although I was eating it there making the bun extremely soggy. The promised onions were almost inexistant and I never saw a person working there during the order or pickup process. It was worth the $8 but was only one step above a fast food burger. There’s much better burgers out there.

Suggest order a single w no extras or you’ll loose money.
Almost everything was wrong and lots of items missing. This place needs to staff more than one person on a Friday and Sat night when many orders are being made. I don’t fault them for juggling everything but sooooo much was wrong that we paid for. Paid for extras on burgers and no extras. Extra sauces, no sauces and not a single combo came with fries.
Guy kept saying he would bring them out but we waited and waited. He eventually refunded us which was good.
Mainly this complaint is don’t put so much pressure on one person and hire additional help on high volume & demand times

Thick smash burgers with cheese are delicious in the double size. I will drive to Sanford for these burgers.
Fries are okay. Fried pickles were greasy and fried mushrooms were uneventful. If you’re a big eater, skip the pickles and mushrooms and eat two doubles.
