We were seated quickly considering it was a weekday and we did not have reservations.

Great restaurant with a vibrant ambience and nice location. It’s in the heart of downtown San Jose. The staff is extremely friendly, we were 30 mins late from the reservation time but they warmly accommodated us. Food was great. We have shrimp, risotto, pizza, chicken wings and a nice chocolate whipped dessert. Food was really nice minus the chicken wings. We sent it back and the server was very cordial about it. Shrimp and risotto were the highlights. Their bar area is super nice with comfortable seating. There is an underground multi level parking at 2 mins walk. Overall a great location, services were great and staff was very friendly, I would go back again!

Stopped in for some appetizers and had a wonderful experience! The restaurant was clean, fairly quite, but all staff was very pleasant. Everything we ordered was very good including our craft cocktails. We will definitely be going back!

Nice large outdoor dining area. We came by for a light dinner after going to a show in the area. Lots of great options. We ended up getting deviled eggs, whipped burrata, and elote corn. Everything tasted great and service was good! Will definitely come back to check out the other options we didn’t get to try.

I reserved the semi private lounge area last month for a dinner celebrating my graduation from SJSU, and I could not have been happier with how it all went! The reservation process with Rachel was straightforward and she did a fantastic job getting everything set up and planning pre-ordered apps, entrees, and dessert for my group of 25. The group order minimum was very reasonable, especially considering the excellent service! Throughout the evening, the servers were attentive and my guests loved the food. We were able to order drinks from our server or from the bar itself. I have been to District many times before for happy hours and drinks, now I can highly recommend it for dinners and larger groups. Thank you, District SJ!

We stopped by during their Dine Downtown promo.. I tried the Elote (fried street corn), Caesar salad, and lemon risotto all flavorful and satisfying. My friend went with a classic burger.

For cocktails we had the Detox which was refreshing.

Overall, the food was good and the vibe was relaxed.

Interesting restaurant, we had dinner here during a Monday and almost ordered the entire menu, food was fresh and we liked most of it, like most of the US though most of it is fried / deep fried with not many options for people on a diet. I really recommend the Aranchini and the salads, the Steak took some time to get to our table and was OK, a bit too overcooked for my taste. Pricing was high and if you’re not from the US you’ll be surprised the the extras, we had a large group fee 20% added to our bill as we were a group of 6, there was a normal tax added and another San Jose 6% tax on top, all of this was before adding the Tip. Last call for food order was 20:00 which was early I guess. See photos for all the meal options

The food and drinks were good, with plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. The ambiance was fantastic—warm and inviting without being overly crowded during our visit. However, I’m taking away one star because our server didn’t inform us when the kitchen closed. We were looking forward to dessert, only to find out it was no longer available when we tried to order. A small detail, but it would’ve made the experience that much better.

District is a pretty solid spot to grab a bite (especially later at night). The deviled eggs were absolutely incredible right off the bat, and the rest of the food was also quite good.

The restaurant itself was nice and spacious, with plenty of seating. It wasn’t overly loud either.

My one complaint was the service… it wasn’t like anyone was rude to us or anything. The issue was more that everything took ages. Even stuff as simple as getting refills on water.

That said, the staff was all friendly and the food was good. I’d absolutely come back.

Came here with a reservation for 8:45pm on a Saturday. The bar was packed. There were plenty of tables to sit at. The hostess and the server were very nice and friendly.
My friend wanted to experience the restaurant week(Jul 11-21) which is part of the 16th Annual Dine Downtown San Jose event. I chose this restaurant based on the good reviews on the food. Since we did come here to take advantage of the restaurant week promotion with restaurants offering prix fixe menus which consist of their more popular food selection at a more attractive price, naturally we tried both the options offered for the event at this restaurant. Everything is served full size. However, I was not impressed with the taste of the food. The food tasted ok, but nothing to rave about. From the deviled eggs to the grilled hanger-steak, they tasted normal, just not any better than other restaurants that I have eaten those dishes before. Actually, the deviled egg was a little tart, the spinach on the sides of the hanger-steak was too salty, and the steak was overcooked. Pizza looks like it came out of the frozen pizza box. The extra topping of Italian sausage that my friend request to be added on the pizza and the shrimp on the gambas al ajillo were bland. Food overall was unimpressive and not memorable. I’m just sharing my own experience…perhaps it is different for others.
Since it was a Saturday night, the street was very lively and noisy with loud music. The same was true at this restaurant. It was however not too loud that you can’t have a conversation.
Again, the staff provided good service at the restaurant but since I’m just not impressed with the food, therefore I can’t recommend.
