Delicious burgers. Super crispy chicken tenders (appetizers) and fries..I didn’t get a picture because we were eating immediately! The chipotle ranch was a great dipping sauce. All burgers can be swapped with the impossible burger patty for vegetarian options. Everything was very fried, but very very tasty. It was lively but easy to talk. Great atmosphere.

A couple of days ago my wife and I stopped in for lunch at Burger Haul. At the time we were the only ones in the restaurant, but by the end, others had come in as well. Our server Lucas was both helpful & accommodating while the owner Joe came out several different times to talk specifically with us – asking us about our food and travels. The burger & grilled chicken sandwich were a great way to top off a weekend in Iowa City – visiting friends and watching some great women’s basketball at the University of Iowa & City High School!

We enjoyed our conversation and he made sure the food was to our liking. Okay this place has really good burgers. I like the one with onion rings on it. Their tenderloin looked pretty good too. It had so so so so many pickles on it. Probably like 15 little pickles. Last, a side of sweet potatoes was FOURTEEN BUCKS. They were good though

Our visit at Burger Haul was fantastic! The food was excellent. I got the traditional breakfast with a side pancake and Mimosa. I will be coming back to this restaurant on my next visit to Iowa. Our server was Faith. She was the sweetest waitress I’ve ever met. Keep on being cool Faith! The owners of the restaurant even came out and greeted us. Very cool!

Highly recommend! Had the best experience here! The server we had was efficient and very nice. We got the pretzel with queso, the BALT burger, and a Butterscotch Willy Nilly bar. Everything was a 10/10. Even got to talk to the owner and learn more about the restaurant. Very personable.

My first time here and I got the breakfast burger with fries to-go. It was soooo delicious, and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. It traveled really well with syrup/sauce on side which I was very happy about when getting home.
This place is super nice and cozy inside, wonderfully decorated for holiday time. They also have a Christmas drink menu! I will be back!! Woman owned by a sweetheart.
