Amazing people work here, my friend and I ran out of gas here and this people took us in like one of their own. Gave us drinks and allowed us to camp by the gas station till the situation improved. For ever grateful.

Best chicken tenders in north carolina
When we come to visit this is the first place I stop. Never had a bad chicken tender from this place. Next year when we go back to visit in july I will be stopping by again as soon as we get into town and the last stop I make before we leave to head back to Tennessee!!!

We stopped for gas. Regular was advertised at road as 3.19. premium which is recommended for our car was 4.69. we have not experienced an 1.50 disparity between reg and premium before. The grill area and bathroom appear run down and not the cleanest. Not a good experience

Found inside the Citgo gas Station. The staff greeted me right away and were so friendly! Everyone had masks on, which I greatly appreciate during this time of the pandemic.
I had some fried chicken and a brownie, my friend had fried catfish – we ate, and ate fast -everything was delicious!!!! The delicious batter on the fried chicken was fantastic and only with a little bit of spice to it, as I would expect from a place in North Carolina!
I am not a fan of fish, but my friend got a few pieces of fried catfish, fresh and hot, and also loved it.
Finally, I requested a brownie without any frosting or sauce on it. Clearly made from scratch, it was delicious!!
I do regret that I didn’t take photos . The grease was appropriately hot which cooked the food perfectly without making the food itself greasy.

Stopped in on friday…received the best customer service. Food was on point. Philly Cheese Steak, wedges, sausages were delicious. We will most definitely be back when traveling through.
