This was the best ramen I’ve had in Charlottesville.
The steak paired perfectly with the ramen, and the egg made it even more satisfying.
I added cheese, which balanced the spice nicely and made it rich without being too spicy.
The staff at Box’d Kitchen were very friendly, and the restaurant was clean, which made the whole experience even better.

Box’d Kitchen is such a solid spot. The food is fresh, healthy, and actually tastes amazing. There are tons of good protein options, everything is well-seasoned, and the portions are generous and filling. Quality is super consistent every time. Ordering is easy, service is fast, and the staff are always friendly. Perfect place if you want something clean, filling, and reliable. Definitely recommend.

Forgot to take a picture, but we ordered the lamb over rice and salad, which was basically an open/deconstructed gyro—and it was so good. Both the red and white sauces were delicious and really brought the dish together. That said, paying almost $16 for the bowl felt a little excessive. For the portion and what you get, it seems like it should be closer to $13–14.

I recently tried Boxed Kitchen and was really impressed. The food was fresh, perfectly portioned, and full of flavor. I had the lam over rice & salad and it was absolutely delicious —a little spicy but still satisfying.
The service was quick and friendly, and the packaging was super convenient for takeout. I also appreciated the variety of healthy options on the menu.

I absolutely love Box’d!! I’ve been going here for years now and never had a bad experience once! They are always super consistent on not only the food but the service! I’ve never dined in, always to-go or doordashed however whenever I pick up it’s always so cute and quaint inside. I get the lamb wrap most of the time however the lamb and rice with a salad is a great option for dinner! Also let’s be SO real, the portion sizes are well worth the price! 10/10 always recommended Box’d!!
