We had a fantastic experience at Casa Rica! From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch. Ricardo, our server, was absolutely excellent friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
The food was delicious, freshly made, and came out surprisingly fast. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s not often you find a place that hits all the marks great food, fast service, and great value, but Casa Rica truly delivers.

We’re new to the Hoschton area and have been trying out local restaurants. We stopped by Casa Rica on a Saturday night and arrived around 9:00 PM, thinking we had plenty of time since Google listed their closing time as 10:30 PM. While we were seated, ordering, and waiting on our food, it became clear they were preparing to close earlier. The open signs were turned off, chairs were placed on tables, and most of the lights in the dining area were shut off, leaving only the main front area lit.
The service was fine, nothing bad but nothing memorable. The food was decent, but overall pretty average. I ordered the Pollo con Crema, which was okay, and my wife had the Camarones à la Diabla. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what we expected and didn’t have the creamy, chipotle-style flavor we’re used to. My wife also had a michelada and said it was just alright.
Given the circumstances and the fact that we arrived later in the evening, the experience felt a bit rushed. That said, they do have a very large menu with lots of options, so we’d be willing to give it another try at an earlier time and possibly order something different. Three stars for now.

Although I have already written a review of this restaurant before, I had to write another one. I really wanted wings for dinner. But my wife wanted Mexican. Of course she won. But as I checked out the menu, I saw wings!!! I have NEVER ordered wings in a Mexican restaurant before. These were the best wings I have had in years. The perfect blend of drums and flats. They mixed the BBQ and Hot sauce together for me. Awesome!!! I am telling you now forget the traditional wing places and get the wings at Casa Ricas! You will be very glad you did. The price was amazing as well. The staff was great and the service was outstanding as always. This is my new favorite wing joint.

Delicious, fresh and family-friendly. The staff are so kind and accommodating. The place is very clean, especially the restrooms, which is a big plus. My kids love the food. Great portions! While we waited for our meal, we really enjoyed looking at the beautiful murals.

I am honestly shocked at how terrible our meal was. We have eaten at Costa Rica before, and while it was never amazing, it was at least decent enough to try again. But this time was beyond disappointing — it was downright upsetting.
I ordered the taco salad, and I can’t express how horrible it was. The portion was unbelievably tiny, and even though I asked for extra pico de gallo, there was literally ONE tiny piece of tomato in the entire thing. The salad was mushy, soggy, and soaked in something that made it look and taste like it had been sitting out for hours. I couldn’t even tell what was supposed to be in it — no visible beans, barely any lettuce, and nothing fresh about it at all. I was so disgusted I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites. I have never had a Mexican meal this bad in my life.
My husband’s meal wasn’t much better — also small, bland, and nothing like what we expected. For what we paid, this was beyond unacceptable. We were left hungry, irritated, and honestly angry that we wasted our time and money.
We will never go back again. This experience didn’t just disappoint us — it completely ruined any trust we had in this restaurant.

You ever eat Mexican food? Then you have eaten here. No surprises, just American Mexican food at a decent price. Had to go seek out the wait staff to be given a check, no biggy.

Food was bland and lacked flavor. Waiter could never get our order correct. Finally gave up and ate what he brought. Tortilla chips were crisp but salsa was runny. My battery died and a young waiter came out to help. Very nice of him. Iwish i had betterthings to say.

Solid food with lots of options. Great, friendly service. They even made my wife a special spicy margarita with freshly squeezed orange juice. 1 of the best she’s ever had!! ❤️

The chips fresh and warm and salsa was good, Food was good, definitely get enough to fill your hunger. atmosphere was great, the service could have definitely been better. I felt like we were a bother instead of being welcomed. There was not very many people in the restaurant so service definitely should have been better.
