I usually like this place. It was a cold day so was forward to eating some hot soup for lunch. Did the pick 3. Mushroom soup was cold. The potato cheese was barely luke warm. I burnt my tongue on the tomato tortellini. I mentioned to the server the mushroom soup was cold. She kinda just brushed it off by saying she had to keep swapping the soups. Not sure what that meant but no offer of an exchange or to heat up my soup. Bummer.

Don’t show up after 5pm or you will get attitude and made to feel like you shouldn’t have even stepped inside even though they are open until 6. I frequent this place all the time for lunch and went looking for a quick bowl of soup at 5:15. Never again.

Do the pictures below look bland? Yes. Is it just the poor lighting? No. The soup was dull, over salted, and nothing remarkable – certainly not worth the near $8 price tag. It’s a little disheartening when they like scrape the bottom of the bag to death and don’t quite fill the bowl and don’t offer to down size to a full cup rather than a bowl for how expensive the stuff is. I don’t know, just rubbed me the wrong way. I do recommend their day old baked goods, but make sure they actually charge you half price, they didn’t ring my day old cookie correctly at first.
In a city with so many great soup options – ahem, Soup Bros and The Soup House – I don’t have a reason to ever come here again.

I’ve gotten four different kinds of soup so far and all of them we’re good. The ingredients taste fresh and cooked to perfection. The soups were seasoned and flavored exactly right. The kitchen in the back is really clean which is nice to see and makes me feel comfortable eating here. Loved it.

I asked the guy to wash his hands after her was touching his cell phone today, he refused, that is a food and safety violation. His response was ‘and’… stay out of these restaurants. What’s funny is that you never know whom you’ll serve. Bad attitude, bad service.

On my soup craving days Soup Market never dissapoints. Always fresh. Samples, suggestions, options. And friendly owner and staff. Recently had a minor mix up and the owner and staff were quick to attend and resolve the issue. I really like establishments that actually care for their product and people. Soup up!

I never review places but this has to be shared. The service was good and I ordered to go so nothing much to say there. However, the food was 1) expensive for quantity and quality 2) the quality was lacking with so many off smells coming from the food.
After eating my soup I felt slightly off but I shook it off… now I am sick and missing work as a result… what a horrible experience. Never going back.
