First problem is their slow service. We ordered 6 dishes, each one came out 10+ minutes after another. We ended up finishing one dish, and then wait forever for the next to come. Even after talking to the service staff, one of the dish we ordered never came. It is such a slow and painful experience.
Second problem is the complete lack of customer care. We spent over an hour dinning there, nobody came to refill the drink, or replace the dirty plates filled with trash. The service is nonexistent.
As for food, the quality of their skewers are just BAD. We ordered the grilled beef tongue, it came out overly dry and hard to chew. During the checkout, We complained to the female waitress, she just pretended nothing happened, and pressed us for payment ASAP, because other customers are waiting to be seated.
I dine out a lot, and have left good reviews for hundreds of restaurants nearby. This is the first time I have to leave one-star review in years.
If you are a fan of Southern Chinese style charcoal bbq, you will love this restaurant. They use high quality beef for their beef skewers. I am ecstatic to find stir fried instant noodles. It also has grilled Wangzhongwang sausage. The service is great too. The price is reasonable. Strongly recommend.

I hesitated to try this place because I’ve seen the menu and I thought it was quite pricy in my standard. However, it was the only place that opened late when we needed to eat out with our friends, so we tried it out. It was Saturday night around 8pm, but they were quite packed (around 70%). We got our seats right away and they gave us the small tea cups for the water (water bottle was already on the table).
We ordered a bunch of stuff since we had a special coupon from Asian Family Market for their Lunar New Year celebration. Here are the list of things that we ordered:
– Grilled garlic eggplant 烤蒜泥茄子 $8.99
– Baked clams with vermicelli in tin foil 錫紙花甲粉 $14.99.
All of the food was delicious, but the beef tongue was especially good. The beef ribeye was a bit dry for me, so I’d recommend getting the lamb instead (both original and marinated were good). The last two dishes were bigger, but they were delicious as well. The baked clams were a bit spicy with tons of chili peppers.
We didn’t order any starch, and we were probably about 80% full when we left. I’d recommend ordering the grilled bread so you can be more full. The downside of this place is that they speak mostly Chinese and they were reluctant to tell us what the skewers are until I asked them. I’m not sure how it’d be for people who don’t speak chinese, but I do see a group of non-Chinese speakers dining there. I’d come back here again for other social events in the future!

We came back 3 times so far. They have changed the order unit of skewers, so you have to get 4 lamb skewers at once for $7.99, etc. It’s still amazing and they added more new dishes now.
Plenty of skewer and Chinese hot dish options. Their skewers are really flavorful and full of spices. Most of the ones we ordered, such as grilled ribeye and chicken skin are a bit spicy but I love the spice and flavor. They have a hot plate for each table to keep the skewers warm and bucket to place the skewer sticks. They have plenty of other Chinese dish and would love to come back the try them.
Plenty of parking space around the restaurant.
Not sure if it’s part of its new opening promotion, but the server offered a lucky draw where we got a free order of crayfish (photo attached) – nice! Overall, I’ll give it a “好吃”(delicious)!
Plenty of vegetarian and seafood options for a non meat eater who missed the BBQ flavors.
One downside is the size of the mushroom skewer there’s 3-4 tiny mushroom floret. I wish there’s more in each.
Cons: Most of the skewers were lukewarm and some were too salty. Lotus root severely undercooked. Food came out slowly because understaffed (one chef). Clams dish was meh; mostly empty shells.
