Joy Wok is a cute little restaurant hidden around the corner from Lucky. It is quite small, and most of the food is like a Panda Express type ordering system. The orange chicken and spicy chicken wings were tasty. It was a little hard to know what each entree was, as they weren’t labeled. I’m guessing this place is mostly regulars who come in and out because of the lack of labels. Each plate was a little less than $13 and I think you are definitely getting what you pay for. To be fair, we went in closer to 8 and are not sure if we got the slim pickings for the end of day. This is a decent place if you’re in a rush and wanting quick Chinese food in the area! Hard to not compare to Little Chef in Campbell.

Excellent food. I leave my reviews after having tried 2 different dishes on 2 different days….whenever that happens.
Food is awesome at this small place. I ordered special chicken soup.

I came after the lunch rush after picking up donuts at Marty’s nearby; there was only one other person waiting for his takeout order. The ladies behind the counter were very nice and patiently waited while I hovered around the hot deli section trying to figure out what to order. I decided on a 1 item plate ($10.50) of tofu with orange sauce and chow mein (can also choose steamed rice or fried rice). Serving size was generous and tasted fresh. They have several vegetarian dishes that I’ll be trying in the future. And another full menu of Vietnamese sandwiches and rolls.

This is a hidden gem behind a Lucky’s market.

Boatloads of good tasting Chinese food for cheap. The pictured two item combo was $9.50. I got the orange chicken and Kung Pao chicken, both of which tasted freshly made and had good veggies in addition to plentiful chicken meat. Staff was friendly too, and to go packaging had plenty of napkins, sauces, utensils, etc.

Arrvied around 6:30pm and there is little items left on the counter, but you can order what you want through menu. Fried noddle is ok, hot and sour soup is good. Clean dining area. Easy to park.

Honestly if a 0 was possible I would give it a negative all of this food wasted simply disgusting money wasted. Whole pad stinks now. To those who posted any good rating I have no clue how you can think that. Please read this review 100 honest on this. I wasn’t treated bad by the workers or anything I’m simply trying to save someone else from trying to consume this. County jail burritos are 5 star vs this. Wouldn’t wish this on anyone. To the cook’s you should be ashamed to serve this. Taste your food.

Review is for the 2 item combo plate. Personally think it’s a bit overpriced and could be more freshly made. $8.50 for a 2 item plate which is a choice of steamed rice, chow mein, or fried rice + two entree items (got two of these). $7.50 for a 1 item plate. Chow mein was mushy, not much flavor. Mushroom chicken was good and broccoli beef was great. Orange chicken flavor was good but was cooked too long ago. Kung Pao chicken was fresh but not much flavor.
Also ordered a large hot and sour soup $6.75 which was good – freshly made and good balance of hot and sour flavors. I liked the fried onion add on.
Had I noticed before ordering the two 2 item combos, I would’ve tried the pork and shrimp spring rolls which looked healthier and yummier.

The ladies who work here are super sweet. I rarely have their steam table food as I feel like it looks a bit sad at times, but their banh-mis are AWESOME. They also have these refrigerated puddings, and other miscellaneous Vietnamese goodies which are all excellent. I also had good luck ordering freshly made food as well.

I come here for the Vietnamese food hands down. The owner of Joy Work also owns Cam Hung so depending on where in Sunnyvale you can eat their baller food.
