We stopped by today and both got salads and smoothies. The girl at the register with the curly brown hair and glasses was awesome. She was so sweet and answered all of our questions about ingredients due to dietary restrictions my husband and I both have. She even went to the back and checked the ingredients on the honey mustard sauce for our kale slaw. She made a nice generous salad and carefully checked that I had more pineapple in my smoothie. She was so friendly, too. I’m sorry I didn’t get your name, but thank you!

The service was AMAZING. Sam and her team were kind, sharp, and completely on top of things. The store was super clean, like impressively clean, and the music was on point too. Good vibes, good energy, everything just felt right. It was just awesome, top to bottom.
Drinks. Elite.
The Bahama Mama and Sunrise Sunset are automatic recommendations. I added protein powder because we are in our get buff era and actively evicting the dad bod. Growth mindset.
Food. Listen closely.
Get the Chipotle Chicken Club. Your mouth will thank you. Your soul might too.

It’s chalky and very runny. I got the peanut butter cup. It doesn’t taste like either. I’m upset! It wasn’t even filled to the top! Megan doesn’t know how to make a smoothie.

I would STRONGLY recommend not going here. This place is essentially poisoning people under the label of “healthy.” They only offer one massive size, and the smoothie I ordered contained a shocking 115 grams of sugar. That is more than three cans of Coca Cola in a single drink. Why are they adding artificial sweeteners and raw sugar to so called “natural” fruit smoothies? Fruit is already sweet on its own.
What is worse is that they do not make this obvious anywhere. You have to dig into the nutrition facts yourself to uncover the truth. After drinking mine, I experienced severe stomach pains, which only confirmed how unhealthy it really was.
Tropical Diabetes Café should be shut down for disguising sugar bombs as health food. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Go to Pulp instead.
