Hey if it’s Chinese it’s China Eight. Once again they hit it out of the park. Tonight I got the fried chicken wings, fried dumplings and the large quart of House Special soup. Also shrimp rolls and egg drop soup. Everything was delicious. Best in town. Be prepared for maybe a language barrier depending upon who’s working the counter and incoming orders on the phone.

I moved to this area six months ago and people around here keep telling me how good food is at this restaurant in that restaurant and so forth and so on. Every single one is a flop, including this one. I don’t know why, but in the south Chinese food is terrible and I know they only making it like that because you people keep eating it. I got chicken lo mein and I got yellow noodles with a bunch of onions and little pieces of chicken none of it was flavored at all. I could’ve easily made that myself at home. You guys down here need to venture out and taste with Chinese food is supposed to taste like because this ain’t it

Super friendly staff, delicious food, quick service. I work near here and they always have my food ready quickly. If you order a “lunch special” it has smaller portions (and a smaller price tag!) Than if you order a regular plate. One of my favorite spots and my go-to spot on my lunch breaks. Family owned and the people who work there are great. Not many options for dine in, definitely a better takeout spot.

Not much atmosphere to speak of… it’s dull and there’s only a couple of runned down tables and chairs in the small dining area. The food is OK, nothing remarkable at all. It’s OK to eat if you can’t get anything else. The service is super slow and it takes forever just to get a small plate such as a veggie lo mein. After going twice and due to the quality of the food, I just stopped going period. There is no public bathroom either.

My family & I usually do take out b/c the inside isn’t as clean as I’d prefer to eat inside. Overall the food is really good. I do recommend their House Soup, Fried Egg/Spring rolls, baby shrimp w/fried rice, Mongolian Beef, Hunan Beef, shrimp fried rice, vegetable fried rice & cheese wontons.

Great place . If you walk in unlike other places , they handle your order immediately . They don’t make you wait on every call in like other places . I ordered my food walked to Food Lion got a case of drinks and my food was ready when I came back . 5 minutes . Real good people skills from everyone . One of the best places to eat in Pembroke .Thanks for your service China Eight .

People are not friendly and food is not good. When I walk in this store it is always unkempt and the cashier looks at you but dose not speak, I’ve eaten plenty more than just this store in fact around the world and this is not just plain . It’s not good
