I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.
With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am – 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.
-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.
People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.

If you disappoint by price and saying trying to support local, and leave. Grateful for the open late night serving good food. I always get Patele stew and laulau never fails.

I try to patronize local businesses and this was one to try based on reviews. Their hours are odd being open from 8pm to 2am. This may be part if the reason for the (what I feel are generous) reviews. I had their staple Terriyaki meatballs and rice. The meatballs are of the cheap frozen variety and the sauce doesn’t taste anything like terriyaki but more like a cheap gravy. The rice was fine but the macaroni salad was gag worthy. Overcooked noodles, shredded carrots and cheap mayonaise slathered on. We had another dish as well that was more Hawaiian inspired and it was 3 stars. I would definitely not come back here.

This was my go to back then but I noticed i get stomach ache after i eat here, happened a couple times wishing i didnt have stomach ache after, but things will never change, not sure if they mix the food from yesterday to save money. I rather just go Zippys for late night dinner. DOH needs to investigate this kitchen

Hole in the wall place on Lehua st in Pearl City thats been around for years with late night grinds that used to be cheap eats….
Havent been here in a while since they changed owners but tried it out again and was disappointed. Prices went up significantly like everyone else, now the regular plates have only one scoop rice.
My go to used to be the patele or teri meatballs but now theres other options closeby that are better than mikis…..service was still slow and cash only.
3 stars.

Even when times are tough, it’s nice to see Miki’s is still going strong. Simple teri meatballs and laulau are a real comfort. Same with the pastele. They only open late night and while it might seem sketch if you’re not from the area, it’s just quiet.

This used to be my favorite late night plate lunch place. Unfortunately, the owner decides to raise the prices and give less food. I was so upset the last time I ate here. I opened my plate and saw how little the portions were at the price I paid, I actually went back to ask for a refund. I love to support local businesses, but not when they try to rip you off. I understand that things are getting more expensive. Why increase your prices, then give less? They act like a McDonald’s where the burgers shrink.

Great late night eats! Menu is posted on their Instagram every night, closed Mondays. Local/Filipino place lunch style. Park on the side of the road that Miki’s is located.

If it’s your first time, their special Teri Meatball is the perfect starter guaranteed to hook you. Whether it’s a late-night snack with family, friends, or your date, this place hits different. Local plates that satisfy that big back you got yessuh blessuh!
