Looking for the perfect sashimi/sushi spot we finally found it. . Not just the quality and the portions but also the variety of fish. Unique items are on the menu and that’s what we love. We had the chef’s selection. You tell what you like and what you don’t like, tell your budget and the sushi chef prepares. And let me tell you he nailed it . For all the sushi roll lovers, their selection is amazing too. Our server Cassandra was attentive and super sweet. Sometimes you don’t have to go far to find your favorite place.

It’s ok… I just expected so much more from a restaurant so close to the coast. Everything was fresh enough it just wasn’t amazing. It’s good for the area but just kinda meh. The miso soup was oddly sweet.

We love going to dinner here! We don’t go super often because it’s pretty expensive. We got in around 8:15 pm and it didn’t take long for us to get our food. Our server was amazing. She was super nice as well. The food tastes amazing. The presentation was beautiful as well. It’s always a fun mix of flavors, so we always get a different roll every time we go. We also got our drinks offered to go when we paid, which normally isn’t a thing at a restaurant. But we will absolutely be coming back!

I usually order takeout from here, but today we went in for lunch. The service was amazing despite it being decently busy. Our waitress was very polite and extremely quick. The fish is always fresh here and you always get a great sized portion. You can tell the chefs actually care. I was so happy to see they had uni. Most places never have it stocked. I’ll keep coming here until they tell me to leave.

Food was heavily soaked in soy sauce and not served with the typical yum yum sauce. Food overall didn’t taste fresh. The pork dumplings with lunch was cold. Waitress asked how food was and didn’t appologize or offer any way to fix or refund the food. I also got sick a few hours after eating the food. The atmosphere is great. Very clean and dark lit. The tables all have nice cushion on bottom and back of seats. The restrooms are only one room per female male. The restrooms are hot and dark lit too.

We come from a big city with a ton of Japanese cuisine and this place is on par with any we had been to. Their drink menu is huge and their food menu is great. Their Katsu chicken is the best fried chicken my wife has ever had. Their sushi was really really good too. We finished with the tempura ice cream and it was such a fun and delicious finish to our date night.
I wish I got the servers name but she was so incredibly sweet and brought us a bunch of different sauces to try. We plan on coming back a ton!

The rolls were massive, honestly a little too much. You won’t hear me say I didn’t get my monies worth. The flavors were great, and the service was fast and friendly. The chef may also work at Chipotle ♂️

Samuri has to be the best sushi place in the Harrison County. The food has always been fresh and tasted great as well as presented very good as well. The staff that work there are very nice and helpful. The host is very intentive to his customers needs and request for not only the to go orders but the dine in as well. The servers are very good at keeping things moving even in busy times. Sometimes it might take a few mins to get your food but trust me the food is worth the wait. I highly recommend the snow crab Naruto roll its my personal favorite. I eat here alot and never had a bad experience.
