This is the greatest pasta dish I’ve ever had outside of my Italian grandmothers kitchen and I’ve traveled throughout Italy. I don’t think there was a menu, they definitely did not speak English, but I never want to leave Geneva so I can return daily!

A cute Italian Taverna in Geneva city center, just is opposite the gare. Their sandwiches are freshly prepared, and the meat and vegetarian options are excellent The sandwiches were very tasty and filling! Omg, the added toppings are in the regular foot long sandwich price, which is 10chf, and that’s a steal in Geneva standard! They also serve warm pasta dishes too. Didnt try them, so can comment, but they looked yummy . They have a few places to dine in, but it’s mostly outtake style, which is great for lunch timers. They seems to have plenty of wine selections, and guessing they are from Italy. The staff are very friendly and kind, and it make the whole sandwich prepping experience, exciting and tasty. Highly recommend trying their cuisines if you are looking for a nice place for affordable, good quality Italian foods.

My favourite restaurant outside Italy. The staff are super friendly with a real family atmosphere and the food is simple but great as in authentic trattorias. If you want to get away from the , at times, morose atmosphere of Geneva and get a taste of Italian hospitality then this is the place to go. Yesterday I found the restaurant closed and had a spag at a restaurant opposite and really felt the difference: decent but pricey with no ambiance or human warmth. Even Calvin old boy would have enjoyed the laughter friendliness and good vibes of this authentic Italian restaurant.

Il Monte Bianco in Geneva is a great spot! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly, and the pastas are truly delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

This is a hidden gem. This small italian grocery shop also is a restaurant. You can buy fresh and typical italian products, and/or try their delicious food. They are known for their foot long sandwiches with olive oil, typical italian cold cuts and marinated vegetables which must be take-away (you cannot sit down to eat their sandwiches). They are less than CH 15.-.
If you want to sit down, they offer 2/3 pasta dishes and salads which vary daily. They have tables inside and on a small terrasse. I’ve tried their dishes:it is fresh and delicious. You can also take-away their warm dishes which are usually less than CHF 25.-. On top of their great food, the staff is very friendly. I highly suggest this place.

Delicious pasta! I got their spaghetti console, they do it with tomato paste which I love! Lots of fresh clams. The only reason I give it a 4 star is the price, 28 CHF, although their portion is on the large side in the context of Geneva. They do have 20 CHF pasta, but I picked the pricey one. They also offer a chopped fruit salad. And I wish they have better coffee than a nespresso machine made ones, given it offers such authentic italian food, I want a nice cup of italian coffee here.

Good food but very noisy inside. The terasse is greta in summer

I’ve only had the Sandwiches they offer. They are great, tasty, fresh, amazing ingredients and prices are more than fair. You get a big sandwich with rich flavors and quality ingredients. I always take the prosciutto with spicy cheese, loads of caramelized onion, arugula, dried tomatoes if I feel like it and different vegetables.
The people are very nice and patient when choosing your ingredients. If hungry at midday, go there, you will not regret it. (they speak Italian, French and Spanish)

This place is special. Menu is tiny (4 different pasta dishes). Wine choice is excellent. It’s a real find.

During our stay in Geneva, we had lunch at this restaurant 3 times. The service is really great, the ladies are super friendly and the food is delicious, especially the salads. We will definitely visit them again when we return to Geneva.
