A standard Thai restaurant with no major surprises, but a few pleasant highlights.
Despite the place being fairly empty during our visit, the food took a while to arrive.
What stood out most were the affordable prices and generous portions. They also have happy hour deals on alcoholic drinks.
I appreciated that you can customize the spice level. My partner prefers mild, while I asked for ‘Thai spicy’, and we were both satisfied.
Not my favorite Thai spot, but I’d be happy to return. Wish I can give 4.5 stars.

The cocktails were well-balanced and refreshing, complementing the meal beautifully. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout our visit. Really love Cafe Isan. It’s been awarded best Thai in Dubai and you can see why. The focus is the food, it’s very casual, street food style but full of flavour. The ingredients are fresh and the spice is just right. Satays are probably best I’ve had, moist and slightly crisp on the outside, papaya salad has the right balance of heat, garlic and freshness, pad Thai is just divine… we always go back here when we want to have good Thai food and it’s really unassuming. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and it’s licensed. You won’t find an extensive list, but it’s enough especially if you are going for the food.

The food lacked depth and flavor. The green curry was too thick, and the stir-fried vegetables were undercooked. The Pad Thai was somewhat bland. However, the tom yum soup with prawns was delicious.

Pure Authentic Thai food! The taste is amazing and spice is divine. Thai Spicy level food and Guinness beer were perfect combination! Hlaing and Sit were very attentive and friendly. Highly Recommended! Definitely coming back!

Located on the first floor of the Armada Avenue Hotel, this Thai restaurant is somewhat tucked away but features a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking JLT. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful, attracting a diverse crowd. Cafe Isan offers bench-style seating and boasts a very friendly and efficient staff. The Pad Thai is particularly noteworthy, as are the vegetarian spring rolls; both dishes are fresh, and the sweet tamarind sauce adds a tangy flavour. However, the serving sizes are slightly smaller relative to the price. One area for improvement is the timing of food service; we ordered three main menu items, and they were delivered at different intervals.

The most authentic Thai restaurant I have been to in Dubai. Very competitive prices without compromising the food quality and taste. Service by the staffs is commendable. Special mention to Beam and the guy she was with ( I didnt get the name) who were very accommodating and always ready to cater to our needs.
