I haven’t eaten Papa John’s pizza for several years. I remember it was about ten years ago when I lived in Brooklyn. I would always order Papa John’s pizza and could eat four slices at a time. After that, as I grew up and moved to another state, I never ordered Papa John’s pizza again. Now I work in New Jersey, and there is a Papa John’s not far from me. However, after reading the reviews, many of them were negative. Then I saw friends recommended that Domino’s pizza was quite delicious. So I ordered Domino’s before, gave it a try, and found that the price was nice and it tasted good too. Since I prefer New York style pizza, once I made a mistake and ordered the one with a very thick crust, which I really didn’t like. Today, I ordered Papa John’s pizza nearby to give it a try, and it turned out to be really delicious. I don’t know why so many people gave it negative reviews, but I think it’s really great.

I had a gift card one time and they said oh we don’t have a scanner so you can’t use it? What? I told them to enter the numbers in manually.
Then another time I paid with cash and they said they didn’t have any change? They went next-door to a different business trying to get change. They walked back to the safe to get change. Eventually we settled on they gave me an extra dipping cup.
Then another time the pizza I got was mostly all crust check the photos below.

Is it just me or has the quality been going down even more at this location in the past few months? Nice people…just the quality of pizza, service and organization has gone down? Something just looks off with the cheese with my pizza tonight, there always seems to be very little toppings, and it’s not always ready when it’s supposed to be (if you order online).
Someone brought pizza from this location tonight and the pizza looks like it’s been out for a few days. That photo is of pizza was picked up 30 minutes ago. Looks and tastes like it was made at least 1-2 days ago and refrigerated.

Living in Smithville New Jersey. Went to cover a store for my job. And they don’t have any Papa John’s for where I live. So I took this opportunity to eat Papa John’s for the first time in nine months. And of course it was outstanding. The lady at the desk was very kind the store layout was nicely done. I definitely recommend this Papa John’s to everybody.

I called from a gas station for the Shaq-A-Roni Pizza! It was my first-time having Papa’s John’s Pizza. Well my wife loved it. It was good but it was NOT HOT. I like my Pizza hot but not cool. I called at 7:48 I was told 10or 15 minutes well it took longer. The place needed to be cleaned the floor was gross.

Absolutely terrible. The pizza is as big as a Personal pizza and who ever cut this has no idea how to cut pizza. They gave me the wrong change. The place is so dirty now and there’s new owners who acted like I’m dumb bc they don’t know how to give change back. Will never order here again.

I absolutely love Papa Johns pizza. But this has got to be the worst chain. Everytime I get delivery either through papa or secondary it’s always wrong! They constantly forget the extra garlic sauces that I paid for and they ALWAYS forget the icing for the Oreo bites! And don’t blame it on uber eats! It’s on this franchise! Pick it up in person or don’t order at all.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! We placed an order over the phone for delivery, they transferred my call to a “secure” billing service but the initial payment did not go through, we tried again after transferring money from the original card we tried (so the money was absolutely there) to another bank account and that charge was unsuccessful as well although the money automatically came out of my account. It then transferred us to speak to someone. The person was extremely unhelpful and rude. He told us that the charge (in which by the way was in the amount of our order) was just an authorization charge and that we still needed to successfully pay in order to have our order fulfilled. We said how that didn’t make sense and his only remedy was to transfer us to the store to have the order cancelled. We called the store and they said they couldn’t help but told us to dispute the charge with our bank and place the order with them again. Essentially, the bank will refund us the money from their insurance and the establishment still keeps the money they claim they did not receive! DO NOT ORDER OR GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO

I was just at Papa John’s in Williamstown & ordered an XL cheese pizza & an order of their cheese sticks.
Got home & realized I’d been given TRASH! The pizza was NOT an XL (which I paid for)…it was only 8 slices, not 10 & was not the normal 16in size as stated on their website. It was very thin & flat, a sprinkling of cheese & little to no sauce.
When I called the store to inform them of such, I was told “they’d been informed by corporate to use less dough & product because supply was short”. UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!!!!
So I asked why charge full price & give less. All I kept getting in response was the same BS. I asked to speak with a Mgr to which I was told there was no Mgr on site today (yeah,right!).
I ask how they planned to compensate me for THEIR short product supply….I was told to write corporate. THAT WAS THEIR ANSWER!!!!
So aside from this bad review, I will be sending a letter to Papa John’s corporate PRONTO!
