If you’re looking for an awesome taco truck, this is it! If you’re not in the mood for a sit down restaurant and craving some tasty late night tacos, Javi’s Mexican Food Taco Truck is your best choice. Their tacos are consistently great, and my personal favorite here is the beef suadero taco, or the burrito on occasion. Suadero is a great alternative to the more common carne asada taco you will find everywhere. It’s a taco truck, so seating is limited to few chairs outside beside the truck. I usually just grab my food and take it home.

What a godsend to have such great al pastor tacos in the middle of suburbia! We just got back from Mexico City and these tacos were as good as some of the street tacos we had there. Salsas are great and they serve their pastor with pineapple. Delicious

Yo! Hear me out! It’s such a random place to put a taco truck by Safeway and across the street from Nordstom, but looks can be deceiving. Good Mexican food, best alpastor tacos with pineapple, and such wonderful people who want to make good food. If you’ve never had their “Suadero Tacos” (cut of beef), try them! They are delicious! Best food to get when getting off work late at night. Thanks Javier, never stop them tacos from coming! Picking fingers is guaranteed. Reader, you have been warned ⚠️

SO nice to see a Taco truck in Walnut Creek! Pastor and Pollo Asado were both great!! Loved the slice of pineapple on top of the tacos yum! Salsas are tasty too. Staff was very friendly. Blinking lights on the truck were cool. I’ll be going back for sure!

As a street side taco truck goes, simple, delicious, and easy. Wait it’s not too bad, but with a crew of a couple guys I don’t expect it to be super fast but it’s worth the wait. Pastor was slightly bland but still good, it was great with the salsa. Size of food was a bit small but still satiating. Highly recommend!

I rarely do reviews and thought this place deserved 5 stars. Tried the pastor tacos last night and aside from the longer than expected wait, these were some of the most flavorful pastor tacos I’ve ever had living in contra costa county the last 5 years. The pastor wasn’t dry and had flavors similar to good places I’ve tried in SoCal and Tijuana. Please don’t change your location, I live super close to the Safeway. Suggest making a yelp to get more exposure and reviews. Great tacos, might go back tonight! Lol.

Javi’s tacos did the catering for my wedding and they did amazing. The food was also amazing and everyone loved it. They were also very reasonably priced and would highly recommend them.
