The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and literally cut like butter. Absolutely delicious. The buttermilk mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were amazing, and we started with the fondue — which was such a great choice. So flavorful and the perfect way to start the meal.
The service and ambience really made the night feel special. They helped make his birthday celebration one to remember. He finished it off with the chocolate mousse for dessert, and it was the perfect ending.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommend for a special night out.
The waiter didn’t bring any energy to the table and lacked attentiveness throughout the entire dinner, the macaroni and cheese was dry and tasted almost primarily of mushrooms. The 6 oz filet (looked like 3 oz) had good flavor but for almost the same price I could get a huge NY Strip at Down on Grayson smothered in butter..
High priced food with questionable servers. Not a single food/drink recommendation, asked for bread twice and was never brought any & whats funny is theres multiple reviews saying the SAME THINGS again and again. Management needs to get their restaurant in check and hire better servers cause you’re losing custos.
One of the standout features of Silo Prime is the live piano music that graces the dining room. The pianist’s selection ranging from classic jazz to contemporary melodie add a layer of elegance without overpowering the space. It’s the perfect backdrop for conversation, enhancing the meal without distraction. The music elevates the entire experience, making dinner feel like a special occasion even on an ordinary night.
The menu is a masterclass in modern American cuisine with a focus on prime cuts and expertly crafted dishes. The steaks are a highlight, cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear and seasoned just right. The seafood options are equally impressive, with fresh, high-quality ingredients shining through in every bite. Pair your meal with a selection from their well-curated wine list, and you have a dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.
Service at Silo Prime is attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. They strike the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, ensuring that every guest feels well taken care of.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night of fine dining, Silo Prime delivers on every level. The combination of exquisite food, impeccable service, and the enchanting live piano music makes this restaurant a true standout in San Antonio’s culinary scene. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the finer details in a dining experience.
I also feel the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the food serviceand atmosphere.
Great spot for a work dinner or special occasion. Highly recommend.
I was part of a group of five dining here after a medical conference and our server Andrew was so rude it was truly shocking. He brought my colleague the wrong drink to which she politely informed him what she had actually ordered. He then doubled down and insisted she was wrong several times, even though everyone at the table heard her correct order.
When she later asked for a glass of wine with dinner, he smugly and loudly announced she had been “cut off” because she “couldn’t remember” her drink which was an outrageous accusation considering every one of us was completely sober, having had one drink or less after a long professional day. It was humiliating and uncomfortable.
When we asked for a manager he was completely apathetic and disinterested. No apology or accountability just a dismissive “I’ll speak to the staff” before walking away. Thankfully another server stepped in and was excellent, but by that point the evening had been ruined.
The food and atmosphere were good but the service was appalling. If you don’t mind being insulted while you dine this might be your place otherwise, avoid it.
