I visited there last night. I wish I would have gone anywhere else. I’m not sure what’s happened here, I waited for 40 minutes for a fish dinner. There were 5 other groups waiting for food when I ordered. Should have been a clue, the guy at the register was talking to people across the restaurant explaining that they had no help and doing the best they could. Ordered extra hush puppies, when my meal finally arrived, was told only two hush puppies, gave me an extra piece of fish instead. No bottles of vinegar, no tarter sauce. These were offered as to go packets. I understand it’s hard to get good help today. There should have been a manager there to help take care of business. It will be awhile before I return. That’s too bad, it’s the only fish place in town. It usually had great food and service, not anymore. No bell ringing going on in this place!!

The fish was cooked properly. Not raw batter spots where it wasnt cooked.
The staff was much on top of everything. Had all you can eat… And didn’t have to wait.
The manager came around checking on us he was great.
Definitely will be back.

We ordered the fish and chicken dinner, and the add on 15 pc shrimp. We did not get our coleslaw or the extra sauces we requested. We actually waited in line for 15 minutes before getting our order. The drive thru person was not very friendly and seem bothered with us being there.

I had the fish, fries and hush puppies, or at least that’s what I thought I ordered. The food tasted great, but they gave and charged me for an order of cole slaw. This is the second time this has happened. Just be aware when you order so you get what you really want.

This location has always had food typical of any Long John Silver’s however the cleanliness inside needs to be brought up. I used to get drive through here often until I went in and ate a few times. Watch your step inside. Everything just feels greasy.

Every time we go there it gets worse and worse. Tonight was last time we eat there. Most of our food was inedible! Had to throw it in the trash. Was so bad we wouldn’t even feed it to our dogs! Plus we didn’t get everything we ordered and paid for. Do not and will mot recommend this place to anyone.

I am from out of town and we stopped in for the All You Can Eat Sundays. We have LJS in Des Moines, so I am familiar with them. They do not have this deal in Des Moines, though.
I am very pleased with my visit. The manager took my order and it was hot and came out nearly immediately. We have a big family and group and was taken care of well. I have only good things to say about the service and food. I would definitely recommend.
The floor and place could definitely use a good cleaning. But given how well the other things were, it does not detract from our experience.
