Amazing Chinese barbecue restaurant with affordable eats and authentic Chinese northeastern food. The skewers were really good including and beef and lamb which was very flavorful and worth the price. The sour cabbage stew was good and it was very authentic to Chinese northeastern food. The beef rice noodles was also very delicious and the broth was tasty. However, this restaurant has a lot of customers so I recommend coming with some time to spend waiting about 20-30 min. But this place is definitely worth the wait

Dining at Little Skewer is like stepping back in time to the Chinese Dynasties. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is like a costume fantasy film, quite unique and enjoyable. Authentic Chinese skewer barbecue in an old Chinese tavern. They need to expand to other markets, Phoenix is calling
A perfect date night for an intimate night out, or also suitable for largwr groups and celebrations. If you want to be treated like a visiting dignitary, they even offer private room decorated as stand-alone casitas.

Fun place to eat with friends. Grab some skewers and some cold drinks to have a blast. Delicious food. They are quite busy. The sticky tofu and the cheese durian were a delightful surprise.

Was pretty good, lots of small bites! I’m used to more kbbq style, but the experience and the aesthetic made the dinner here really fun. You order from and iPad, and the selection options are bit overwhelming as a first timer. Got a variety of meats (beef and pork – both good) the cucumber was fresh and perfect to cut through the heaviness, and the arctic surf clams were my favorite!

I love me some good BBQ skewers. It’s just that good. It’s basically comfort food, is it not? It pairs great with a nice cold beer, or two, or five… We’ve come to enjoy this location of Little Skewers a few times now. Every time has been a great experience.

We particularly love the decor, as it really sets your mood when you come to unwind with friends or family. The decor really helps you to enter a mode of relaxation with all the notes about drinking and life, etc. Then there’s the fake meats hanging around all the tables and the interesting way they have the napkin holders hanging all around the fake meats. It’s a great idea and good execution.

The food is always top notch. Great skewers all around. We haven’t had a bad skewer. We especially love the lamb skewers, the chicken wing (this thing is huge!) skewer, and the squid. We were skeptical of the durian pizza, but it actually came out great. Don’t think of it as pizza with durian. It’s more of a dessert pizza if that helps. It’s just sweet enough and there’s no marinara sauce.

P.S. this spot is not the biggest restaurant, so if you’re coming on a Friday night with a party greater than four people, expect to wait a long time… an hour plus most likely, but it’ll be worth it. Trust the process.

is a nice spot to grab some skewers, especially if you’re into a lively weekend vibe. It’s a popular place, so be prepared to line up at the kiosk since it’s first come, first serve. The skewers are tasty, though a bit on the salty side – nothing a good drink can’t fix! My favorite was definitely the cucumber; it was super refreshing and balanced the flavors well. Oh, and they have a live band on weekends, which adds such a fun and energetic atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Little Skewer is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the enticing aroma of grilled skewers. The skewers themselves were packed with bold, authentic flavors, and it was evident that the ingredients were fresh and carefully selected. Each bite was a delightful mix of perfectly balanced meats, vegetables, and spices, offering an experience that felt both traditional and innovative.

The variety on the menu was impressive, catering to all tastes with a wide selection of meats, including lamb, beef, and chicken, as well as an array of vegetables. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into each skewer, making every bite a memorable one.

Despite it being a busy weekend, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us at the last minute. Their service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which added to the overall positive experience.

The ambiance of Little Skewer was warm and inviting, with a lively atmosphere that made it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The decor was charming, reflecting the traditional roots of the cuisine while maintaining a modern touch.

If you’re looking for an authentic and flavorful Chinese skewer experience with excellent service, this is the spot. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Little Skewer a standout choice. Highly recommended!

Delicious small bite skewers that really pair well with the ambiance. They have live Chinese singing that can be a bit loud, but it was still an enjoyable experience. The clam vermicelli was hot and savory loaded with clams. Draft beers came out nice and cold. Would love to come back again.

This restaurant takes a”lunch break” between 3-5pm. We went there a while back, at 5:30pm, and was told that the wait time is 1 hour!
Anyway, went there at 5:01 pm today. By 5:30, this place is packed, and there are people waiting outside already.
In short, if you can read Mandarin, then you can appreciate that the owner really makes this place for people who like to have some drinks to sit back and relax.
