It smells amazing the moment you walk in the door. And Matt and Alana are both so friendly!! We went there today to pick up dinner and dessert for tonight. They were busy with lots of catering things on Saturday, but they pulled some stuff out for us and threw together a wonderful salad. And our desserts are amazing! We got an assortment. We couldn’t wait until dinner, so we made a wonderful snack!! Can’t say enough nice things about this wonderful little Italian market on the Main Line!

Vegetarian perspective
Delis can be hit or miss for vegetarians, but this place blew me away! Plenty of great options for vegetarians and I can’t wait to go back to try more. I got an eggplant and mozzarella sandwich and was so impressed! The mozzarella was so fresh and sliced so thickly the sandwich was juicy! It took a lot of restraint to not eat the whole thing in one sitting. It was crowded but they worked quickly, so we didn’t wait long. Just one table in the place but luckily we’re able to get a seat.
Also loves the market and got some goodies while waiting for my sandwich.

Gave this place a try because of well rated it was and it mostly lived to to the hype.
Tried the chicken pesto and Super Italian sandwiches; both of which came with the highest quality ingredients and flavors. My favorite was the Friday special roast park; tender pork with sharp provolone and the perfect combination of ingredients to bring it to the next level.
All three were a little too bready where it diminished some of the flavor of each sandwich and made them a little soggy.
Worth the try!

Not sure why this place has such a high rating with such soggy chicken cutlets. How can you be an Italian market that’s a sandwich shop and use such products. Nobody in the back had hair nets and more than one person had exposed hair around food preparation that the board of health would have frowned upon. Not one Italian employee in sight. As an Italian American I can see how Amish pizza shops would be faking moves but for a place in the most sought after zip code in our state to keep places like this in business for who!?
Further proves my point as a chef, normal people will eat anything they don’t have to cook themselves and then say it’s good. I’ll stick to cut above and picas. At least they stay true to our American Italian pallet. If you fail a cutlet I won’t ever return. Cute products though, I can find them for half the price as well in other more authentic Italian markets. Good luck tho! (Picture is me having to dissect my sandwich and try to crisp it on broil in my oven it took forever and defeated the purpose of me not having to cook after helping my husband with our construction business all day!) blue collar!

The first thing I noticed was how good the place smelled when I walked in. I got the Italian sandwich, the ingredients were high quality and the ratios were perfect. Guy at the counter who I think was the owner is a good guy too, you can tell he cares about the customers. They also have some unique snacks/drinks and lots of other grocery items, will definitely be back
