This place earns a solid 5-star review! From the delicious breakfast—featuring what might be the best corned beef hash I’ve ever had—to the wonderful service and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a truly great place. If you’re just passing through, it’s a can’t-miss spot, and if you live nearby, consider yourself lucky to have such a great restaurant so close.

I recently stopped by Monrovia Family Restaurant for lunch with a friend, and it was a great experience! I went with the Turkey Club, which came perfectly stacked and speared into two long kabobs. The multiple layers of fresh toppings and generous slices of turkey made it incredibly satisfying. I also got a side of fries, which were crisp and thin, just the way I like them. My friend tried the Giant Breaded Tenderloin and absolutely loved it. While there might be larger tenderloins out there, these are hand-cut by the chef and definitely fill you up.

The service was prompt and friendly, just like you’d expect from a small-town diner. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were spot-on. Monrovia Family Restaurant is definitely a great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and I’ll be coming back for sure!

I’ve had stopped in for items to go a few times. Got turkey sandwich yum, chicken enchiladas omg big and amazing, and ribeye sandwich which had fries ( good but not fantastic flavor wise). This time I had breakfast with a group. Plenty of meat in the omelets. Everyone liked what they ordered and the atmosphere so much they voted to come back for the next monthly breakfast. Staff made sure our drinks stayed filled, dirty dishes removed and that we didn’t need anything.

Ranchero skillet is always excellent. The sweet tea is the best around! Just a good restaurant.

Took my 15yr old daughter here for a lunch date. It was our 1st time trying this place and we were more than impressed!! The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. The food was amazing!!! Needless to say this our new favorite and we can’t wait to try it out for dinner! (We had breakfast for lunch lol)

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise in a tiny little town. Not fancy, but friendly patrons, friendly servers, and good home cooking.

One of the daily specials was baked spaghetti. It was not baked. It was spaghetti on a plate with sauce with chucks of tomatoes no meat. Came with piece of toast with garlic butter on it. For $12.99.

Big portions, great staff. I got the catfish I perfer a light cornmeal breading, this was a crunchy chicken style. Just personal preference? Wife got the tenderloin, same crunchy breading. You will get plenty of whatever you order.
