When we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice couple who said they had been in business for over 30 years. They were very friendly and made us laugh. Our sandwiches were made to perfection as well.

1 star review because I can’t give them a lower score. I placed an order through the app and I was charged. The app and my bank both show that I have paid for this order. The subway staff says they did not receive my order and they will not assist in any way. I attempted to call to make sure my order went through but you never answer the phone. You lost a customer subway!!!

The Service was my only red flag, the Older gentleman whom is the manager, has a short fuse and limited patience with completing transactions for customers. He got so annoyed about me using my gift card and him not knowing how to process the payment that he tossed my sub and cookie bag behind him/where the toasters are . I was livid , i even cried because the woman in me wouldn’t respond how I wanted to. The wife/female manager didn’t correct him or my situation but a team member did, she voided it and refunded my purchase and I thank HER for that.

This restaurant is trifling. Meat is not properly stored, the facility is dirty, and employees appear unclean. The conditions are unsanitary and disgusting. I have submitted a request to the BBB and requested that the restaurant be inspected and properly cleaned.

i walk into the subway downtown norfolk like wow this is nice, keep in mind in there for uber. so i’m told the order isn’t ready and i can sit down to wait but i told the korean lady that i’d rather stand and wait for the order (as personal preference) she then commits to try to force me to sit down and exclaims that i’m in her walking way when i’m nowhere near the door, threatens to call the police and says how she’d never have a son like me and how i’m not getting the order….all because i wanted to stand in the waiting area. i wanted to wait for the order but i quickly accessed the situation and realized i wasn’t in the wrong so i should take action. super rude lady and i don’t know if it’s privately owned but if it is that makes sense
