Excellent food and excellent service at Thyme. You can really taste the care and (thyme…haha get it? I love puns) that they put into their cooking. We were visiting during the off season and dining options are fewer so we were grateful that they are open year round. They also have a nice selection of wine, beer and cocktails and superb desserts. They got it all! We had a great thyme! (Alright…last pun. I’ll see myself out)

What a fantastic place! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We had some wine next door while we waited for our table and it was worth the wait. We had whitefish chowder, pork belly with jalapeño corn, sirloin steak with risotto and roasted veggie and wild mushroom risotto with grilled chicken. So incredibly yummy and highly recommended.

We tried out this farm to table restaurant and everything about it was impressive! From the server (Jason), the atmosphere, quaint yet elegant and the food was the best we have had in a long time. We ordered the short rib with small potatoes and vegetables in season (yellow squash and zucchini). The short rib was so tender and tasty, with the sauce. Potatoes were covered in Parmesan cheese and were very tasty and the vegetables were tender and oh so good. We also tried the mushroom risotto with chicken. The flavor was excellent, chicken was tender and everything cooked to our liking. This was our first time at the restaurant, a great find just outside of Sister Bay, we would highly recommend!

Amazing dinner!! We came early and got a table right away, which was smart as they filled up fast!! Highly recommend this on busy nights– we came on a Saturday. Highly recommend the lemon whipped ricotta and toast as an appetizer. We then got the tomato bisque and pear/ goat cheese salad. Both great, although I would have liked to have had more pear on my salad. Our entrees were the short rib and salmon. Amazing!! Then we shared the flourless chocolate cake for our wedding anniversary– perfect . The service was phenomenal! The only thing I would change is the view outside the window. The manager did ask if we wanted the curtains pulled, but as my husband said we waited for Spring for so long in Wisconsin, we needed to enjoy the sun– but it was nice they asked! Thyme lived up to the high expectations! We will definitely return this summer! Thanks for a great anniversary dinner!

We had the most incredible wedding at the Open Air Hoop House with Thyme Restaurant and Catering. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Callie was truly amazing to work with, kind, organized, and so attentive to every little detail. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was flawless and that we felt completely taken care of. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear how much she genuinely cared about making our wedding special. The food was phenomenal, fresh, flavorful, and served perfectly warm. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. The dessert charcuterie was absolutely fabulous, the late-night cheese curds were a huge hit, and the custom specialty drinks were so good. The entire staff was so professional, friendly, and thoughtful, making the whole evening run seamlessly. Every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations and created a day we will never forget. We are beyond grateful to Callie and the entire Thyme team for their talent, care, and heart. We could not recommend them more highly. They truly made our dream wedding a reality!

Our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first. We loved the whipped ricotta, olive oil lemon cake and daily specials. Our server was wonderful also!!! Cannot recommend enough.

Best restaurant experience in Door. Creative seasonal menu, food is prepared with local ingredients and truly everything on the menu is outstanding. The ravioli was surprisingly fresh and light with a lemony presence. The olive oil cake is the perfect finish, again light with generous lemon curd topping. Indoor and outdoor seating, bring a jacket it tends to get cold. Wine bar with a beautiful Napa vibe backyard with fire pits next door and ideal spot to wait for your table.
