Our office ordered through Door Dash. The food was horrible. The hush puppies were burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. The “grilled” (burnt) chicken sandwich was rubbery. The “pulled” pork was huge chunks and very dry. The fries were flavorless and mushy. One sandwich was sliced pork and not pulled pork. All the meat was dry and seems like it’s been sitting out for a while. All the fired food taste like it was cook in old or not hot enough oil. We ordered 7 meals totaling $131 and we called and asked for extra bbq sauce and we were sent four small sauce cups total.

Good came out hot and ready! Didn’t wait super long and my waitress Carolyn was so super sweet. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was heavenly! Definitely recommend for a small town bar-b-q!

This place gave us the creeps….. it’s huge inside, but only 2 other tables seated when we walked in, and almost every other table was full of dirty dishes and food from other customers. The waitress even said she had to go wash some cups before she could take our drink order. The food was just really horrible. Hush puppies were burnt on the outside but gooey in the middle and had zero flavor. The “beef” mystery meat was completely tasteless and even the fries were bad….. How do u mess up fries? Then half way through our meal the big sweaty cook came out from the kitchen and decided to take a break 2 tables away from us just kind of staring in our direction…. There was no music or other people at this point so it was just an Erie awkward quiet… All 4 of us ordered something different and no one liked their food. We each ate a few bites and decided to cut our loss… I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog…

hush puppies were over-saturated in the cooking oil, green beans in a tiny portion cup from a can, and not very much beef -undercooked and bad smelling really thinly sliced- on the absolute cheapest hamburger bun you can buy. Took bun off meat to examine it… straight up bloody from the undercooked status of the beef. Took a bite to try to give it a try but I could not eat any more. I am really sad because I saw plenty of good reviews, but I guess I should have listened to the bad reviews. Do not recommend. Portions also small for what they are charging. Lady at the register/waitress was nice to the customers but was having a personal problem over the phone extremely loud and unpleasant to listen to, even after other folks came in to dine. It was really awkward. Bar-b-que sauces mediocre and could not redeem the poor meat on the sandwich.

I checked into this place in 2013 and I never wrote a review about it because I was going to try and give it another chance. Unfortunately I gave them several chances because I really couldn’t say no when I was going out to dinner with my family. First of all it took him forever just to get the drinks. Then when we finally decided to order they couldn’t get the orders correct we had to keep repeating what we wanted before the girl actually got the correct items down for the correct people. I ended up getting a burger cuz I’m not much of a pork person. But the sad part is I could have played hockey with my hamburger patty. The thing was so hard you can Clank it on the table and my mother-in-law did the same thing. The drinks we’re horrible they must have run out of the syrup for the sodas. And everybody else I got with some sort of pork was complaining that was extremely dry. Needless to say I think when you screw up three times then you’re done so this is the last time I will ever go to this restaurant and I will not recommend it to anybody that I know. I understand that people have different views and like different restaurants but that’s the whole point of writing a review you need to read the good in the bad and unfortunately my experience was bad every time. For the people that enjoy this place keep on enjoying it don’t only take my word for it. The other thing that really got me with this place is the fact that it looked like it was run down and they really didn’t clean the tables either. I actually had to ask them twice to come over and wipe the tables down because it was so sticky. Maybe I could have gotten everybody on and off day all three times that I went.

It was pretty quiet when we were there. Good value in food. Don’t order the green beans or corn as they’re out of a can. The bbq ribs have a solid dry rub that we found was the best option. The sausage links were solid too. Sliced pork and BBQ beef were less interesting. The hush puppies and baked beans are definitely worth getting though.

I ordered take out for the first time. Wow this is good food! I got chicken and ribs combo plate. BBQ meat was done real nice. Moist and springy meat not dry and falling off the bone. Beans cole slaw and corn tasted fresh and homemade. Folks at the front counter were friendly and attentive. I would definitely order from here again. Overpriced in my mind for what it is but you do get a large portion if ordering a combo. Thanks Memaw!

Mary our server was absolutely wonderful that’s about the only thing that restraunt has going for them, food came out cold and chicken was over cooked and very dry. The 3 sauces they have are horrible way to much vinegar, with that said they must mix their sauce with the pulled pork which makes it not good at all. Taste like vinegar pork. The only good thing we tried was the smoked turkey, employees working in the kitchen are very loud with not appropriate music,the music was so loud that the entire restraunt could hear. Seems like the employees were having a better time than the customers.

I ordered a sliced pork dinner platter. Thinly sliced pork arranged neatly side by side on a plate. Unadorned. Without sauce as two types of sauce were on the table in squeeze bottles. My platter arrived warm, not hot as I preferred. Sides were in tiny plastic cups. Not hot but mildly warmed, no flavor. Okay meal. Lots of meat.

The condition of the parking lot was my first concern – there were pot holes on the west side entrance and several concrete parking curbs were dislodged and askew, making these spots unavailable for parking. It was dark and dingy inside, but the service was good and the waitresses were friendly. The canned green beans, tasteless tomato slices, and semi-warm pulled pork were not good. This place used to be great – not sure what happened. 🙁
