Anthony’s recently took on new ownership & was nicely remodeled. The restaurant smells amazing, like delicious pizza… however the Mexican entrees are subpar at best. Rice & beans are not homemade. Pollo entrees were prepared completely different than listed on menu, they are simply a thin uncut piece of chicken topped with unseasoned veggies (missing queso).
The owner is very nice & the place would have potential if they focus on Italian cuisine & getting their liquor license. I look forward to returning to try their pizza

We were excited to try a different type of pizza… the double dough pizza. It has a slightly crisp crust and bottom, and very soft “insides.” It was good, but not my favorite. I’m also assuming the pizza was sitting there ready, and they just warm it up for us to eat, so I’d assume that would contribute to the quality of our slices.
The cheese bread was quite good, and a large order turned out to be way more than we needed! Happy that we tried them.

Just can’t say enough good things about this place. Appears they merged with a Mexican restaurant recently. My husband got his normal slice of pizza and I got the pollo borracho. Both were absolutely delicious. We never have a bad experience at Anthony’s.

We visited from Utah for business and leisure. Steve took great care of us. It’s hard to find good pizza in Utah, so of course the first meal we wanted in Chicago was pizza. My better half is a Chicago native from Orland Park—Steve treated us like old friends. Be sure to stop in and support this restaurant.
