I ordered delivery for two of the 3 scoop poke bowls with tuna, salmon, and all the extra stuff. Everything tasted pretty good. The bowls they served them in were decent in size and came with utensils and sauces. I have no complaints.

I ordered a poke bowl at Anipoki — it was a big bowl with tuna and salmon. The fish was very fresh, with lots of salad and brown rice. Everything was super tasty. I’ll definitely be back! Large parking lot and beautiful female staff.

The fish have no flavor and the kimchi they have taste cheap. I dont like how they have so much focus on their marinated fish options and have the non marinated fish hidden on the side. Its an issue because from my knowledge, poki shops usually toss their old fish into marinades and to mask the fishy taste. I cant say forsure they do that but i like to assume to stay on the safe side vs eating unfresh fish. Workers were OK but they never said “thank you” when I left. Thats the least they could do after I tipped. Back to the food, rice wasnt great either and the sauces didnt have any punch to them and the meal just tasted bland. I’ve been here like 4 times and my review seems pretty consistent to my experience there. The only thing positive, is that they have a nice selection of canned beverages. My advice to this place, move up the fresh fish and invest in the quality and variety of fish. They had no octopus, scallops, albacore. I recommend Japanese products for fish vs Chinese based. The poki shops who exclusively get their products from Japan, have noticeable better food and taste.

Don’t eat at this place. They serve about to spoil raw salmon. The salmon in my poke tastes very soft and kinda of mushy feeling. Hopefully it’s OK for my stomach. For pricing, they don’t know the size of their bowl. They charged me a regular size bowl price instead of a mini bowl size. Also, the server that asks you what ingredients you want on your bowl is deaf. They can not hear what people want; you tell them again and the boy had a grumpy bad attitude.
So again this place is the worst. Don’t come here !!!

Absolutely great grilled salmon salad that I am still savoring in my mouth. this was a very nice accident because I was supposed to go somewhere else. Veggies were really fresh, the salmon was grilled right there at the moment so it was hot and very tender. I really recommend this place servers are nice restaurants are clean and food was good.

This place is just so-so for me. I’ve been here three times now, and I think the only reason I keep coming back seems to be how they’re the closest poke place to me.
The toppings taste fresh (I usually get fish and imitation crab with edamame and avocado), but then the veggies don’t. Compared to other poke restaurants around here, the veggies at Ahipoki are the most stale I’ve had. I’m not sure how that works.
Other people complain their portion sizes are small, although I always get the largest one and I can barely even finish or I need two meals to eat it.
I once ordered their hand roll. Tasted fine. However, the seaweed wrap was way too soggy.
Their spam musubi was standard, nothing special. It fulfilled my cravings.
Also, Ahipoki offers grilled meat bowls for those who won’t or don’t eat raw.
I would come back if in the area. Not my first pick for poke in SGV, though.

Service was great and the value for the food was decent. Ordered the chicken bowl and a 3 scoop poke bowl and spam musubi. I like how the chicken and the spam musubi are heated on the grill for a very fresh flavor.

It’s fine if you like tuna, but their salmon was just straight up cooked. If I wanted cooked salmon I wouldn’t be going to a poke place. Also it feels gentrified.

My go-to is half brown rice and half salad, signature tuna luau and blazing salmon, spicy creamy (spicy Mayo base) and wasabi citrus (sweet ponzu with wasabi flavor). You can choose which toppings you like or all of them. I always opted for all of them, all so delicious. Very refreshing! Bonus points. They also have low carb options (kelp noodles) for you to try out.
The only issue I had was the portion, it was always a hit or miss. I feel like it really depends on who served you that day, my experience was female workers usually gave less? Not so sure why. In my opinion, it was not enough for a meal sometimes.

Poke bowl places have been all the rage recently. This one not much different from the rest. I usually stop by this one if I crave it and am in the area. I can expect them to have fresh food, fair prices, and clean eating areas. A differentiating factor is that this location seems to have more marinade options than most.
