Authentic Italian food, exceptional varieties. Don’t miss special: ossobuco and homemade pasta!
The service was not nice though, came back asking for higher tip In a rude way even though we left a generous tip.

Great food!
Our food was delicious. Maybe some of the best Italian food I’ve had.
Is there no option for a side salad?
We asked for a side salad, and the owner said yes. Served us 2 large dinner salads instead, which drove up the tab. The tomatoes were inedible, unfortunately.
Like I said, the entrees were fantastic, and the service was great.

This is our 2nd time visiting this restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. The first time a year ago because we were visiting from out of state. Great food. We decided to go back after permanently moving this year to Florida. Out of all the restaurants we decided to go back yesterday for Valentines day. Our table was in the middle up front to entrance. I watched the owner berate the hostess who was a young woman. Yelling at her for table seating . Pounding his finger on the seating chart at her because she sat two people at a four table. This went on the entire time. The abuse was horrible. This is the same man that hung up on me cancelling a reservation in December. The owner is a horrible man and has anger issues. He completely ruined my peaceful dinner that was 250. I will never ever go back due to his behavior. I’ve never seem anything in my life like this in a restaurant. I don’t recommend this place

So one restaurant that doesn’t get much burn in here is Panevino. Little classy italian joint across from Mercato. Of course the strip mall vibes may fool a few, but this place could be situated anywhere and still pump out great food. Yes the owners have quirky methods such as no splitting checks, no sharing plates etc etc…but growing up in northern NJ, i guess I’m used to it. Anyways, the place is tight. It was jam packed. Servers attentive. We ordered a bottle of vino, and scanned the menus. We were hoping they were serving Spiedini, as it’s a special on most nights but not tonight. So we ordered the clams and meatball apps. The clams were delicious. Tons of bacon and garlic. The sauce was delicious I believe i started drinking it. The meatballs were good, but different. It wasn’t your traditional blend of beef, Veal, pork. It seemed to be just Veal. They were very soft. The marinara, also very good. I also consumed like it was soup. That good. So for main course l, I was told the special of Veal Chop was the most popular dish they serve. They run out of it most night. My wife had the chicken scarporiello. I may have spelled that wrong. The Veal was fantastic. Bone in, breaded and very tender. In a mushroom sauce I believe. Hers, possibly the same sauce with scalloped potatoes and sausage. If you want a professionally cooked italian meal, come here. Make a reservation because this place was jammed up like the Tunnel on Saturday nights. (A night club i went to, ALOT) oh and my kids loved it.

A diamond in the rough. Located in a local shopping center, this cozy Italian restaurant welcomes you to enjoy a wonderful meal, great wine selection and friendly vibe. The food is fantastic including delicious veal and seafood offerings and other traditional Italy inspired dishes. The service is impeccable. Be sure to make a reservation so you are able to be seated without the wait. Our go-to place!

I do HIGHLY recommend this experience. Reserve!!!! This is unfair review, because everyone’s taste is different. But, this is my review, so HA!!! If, twas me, which twasn’t, and maybe you are glad you twasn’t me, but, I’d black out drapery the park lot windows and put real candles on the tables. Wine steward lighting it after seating. I like romantic. There are nice electric lights on the tables, now. So, charge an extra dollar. Maybe two, because I’d have a good looking, in shape, male host giving a rose to every woman upon entrance. Now, of course, they don’t need my advice, and they are packed all the time, So, whadya waaant! …. Anyway, the room is perfect, nice wall art pieces, excellent male servers and food!!! The classic romantic music was very delightful and apropos. Fine wine list, and menu. Reserve!! And I would add a bikini night!!!! No, scratch that. No bikini night… but go!!! Make a reservation.

Where do I begin…we came in to this charming restaurant on Valentine’s night expecting a lovely relaxing meal. While the food was good, our waiter was rude and disrespectful.
The waitstaff rushed us into ordering our main meal and seemed irritated when we asked for an appetizer as well. They accused us of not speaking up on time to order our appetizer before our meals- really? Is this how you treat people?
Once our entrees came out they tried to take away our salads before we finished.
One of the reasons we like to dine out is to enjoy the ambience, savor our meals and have pleasant conversation with company. We were unable to enjoy these pleasures due to the short-tempered, rude and unwelcoming manager and wait staff in this place.

Cute little Italian place in a strip mall. Food is good. Service was good for our larger group. Slightly rushed, and when it’s closing time, they want you OUT. On the pricey side, but service was good. Some loved their food, some thought just ok. I was on the just ok side. Good, but wasn’t wowed. Ones that ordered loved smashed pork chop special loved it. I had veal marsala-wasn’t wowed. I will go back with those friends when they ask, but won’t be the one to recommend. We have friends that think this is the best they have ever had. I was not in agreement. But we thought the service and ambiance was good. Will stick to simple red sauce dishes next time and then we will see. Bread was delicious. Calamari very good. Red sauce on calamari was fantastic, that’s why I will try their red sauce items next time. Desserts were delish- almond cake a must try. Unique for the area. Tiramasu was very good. House Chianti ok, but not for the price. Good for loud groups, or date night. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Was very engrossed in conversation, so don’t have a lot of pics.

Not recommended at all, the service was really bad, we ordered a scallopini with a side of pasta, the sauce would like coming out of a can.
After we paid an added reasonable tip, they came rudely asking if this is what we want to add as a tip because it’s not enough.
Generally, the food was not bad, but I can say there is a lot of other Italian restaurants that others great food with a much better service and much better locations.

The owners greet you with a smile. The waiters are very attentive and professional.
They go over all of the specials.
Try the Bronzino, excellent. Good size Caesar salad. You have to ask for a few anchovies on top. Cod is also very tasty. The fish (octopus, clams, shrimp, etc.) with linguine is excellent. Good desserts. Ample parking. Worth tracking done. Enjoy.
