This was a nice little spot. We came here after a long day of driving. They had a good selection of food and the food is good. I loved my clam chowder. The Caesar salad was a bit intense though, a bit too salty. And the croutons were interesting. But the salad was still good though. The fish was excellent.

Make your way to this 1000 island gem. The experience here was quite interesting with mixed emotions. Though the hours are limited through the week to get in and enjoy the food, it is worth trying or coming back to for more. This may of been a one off experience and still wanted to share as it could help you determine trying this place. With a 15 minute wait to get seated in a almost empty restaurant started making seem like the time here was going to be a bad decision. The server was scattered and not attentive to detail, but with a help of another patron waiting on table seating found a seat at the bar. The bar was full with lots of mimosas and a server that was going many directions. It took an additional 45 minutes to get the order placed with the bar server. Ordered a drink from the bar while waiting to order food and received the drink in a few minutes. I also ordered a water that the bar server forgot about but I was able to get the main server to give the water to me when she was getting other waters for another table. I was able to hear from a couple locals that the food was amazing so it got me excited to hang around and wait to order. After I finally got my order in I found out the server was on her first day and the bar server was trying to manage everything. I received the food after another 45 minute wait. The food was worth the wait. Since the kitchen was out of chorizo for the tacos I ordered the chicken tacos. The tacos with crispy chicken, jalapeños, corn, and sauce was delicious. The tortilla shells had been warmed and crisped up so they had the perfect crack and chewiness to them. The waffle fries were not too crispy, but acceptable. The plating was nice and the food was filling. This experience was not entirely good, but waiting for that food was worth it as it was enjoyable.
The total time at the restaurant was 2.5 hours. I want to try this restaurant again though this was a tiring experience and service was good but it too way too long for a plate of food. If you have the time with friends and family come try this place. They have limited hours so make sure you can make it for dinner on the weekend or brunch on Sunday. I hear the breakfast is amazing and the lunch I had was worth coming back to try more menu options. And if you are traveling through Clayton this restaurant is a great destination. This is a good place for families and shareables

Super quaint restaurant. I’m only in the area about once a year but I’ll definitely be making this place a priority when I visit again. Some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had and has such an amazing atmosphere and feel. A must go to if you’re in the area.

Holy Good Food Batman. How have I passed this place for years and never stopped?!?!? All this time lost eating sub-par food when I could have eaten here!!!
I love the options. I love that there are off menu specials. Gluten free is also offered which is a big deal to my family.
The fish fry is so amazing! In fact it was so good we went back the next night and got take out!
Do yourself a favor, eat here! You won’t regret it. Best food in the area hands down! My kids even loved it too!

An excellent Friday night fish fry! The haddock was pristine, white and incredibly flaky, fried to perfection in a house beer batter. And the house made tartar sauce was delectable! We shared an order of fried cheese curd and those were simply yummy, and came with both marinara and a sweet chili sauce. Who know how yummy sweet chilly sauce was on fried cheese? Not this girl! Well I do now, and I’m hooked! Nice friendly staff, and a great value!

This was a cozy little find we stumbled on when we visited Alexandria Bay during the off season. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge! Food was absolutely delicious and I loved their Moscato (super sweet, crisp and lightly carbonated). They have the option to serve a round to the kitchen staff- which I definitely recommend after the food we received. Our server was Tay and even with a packed house we felt attended to and everyone who worked there, worked to keep things running smoothly. The hostess was super friendly and attentive as well!

We needed a quick bite to eat and the clipper was slammed next door so we saw this little place and figured we would give it a shot. We were all really happy with our meals. The fish fry was exceptional and the bBQ chicken sandwich was a favorite of our group as well. Our waitress was attentive and punctual. Prices were ok. We’d stop again for sure when passing through.

Went to dinner with the wife. I had fish and chips(Haddock), she had steak fettuccine. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. Our server Shannon was top notch. Don’t live in the area, but this will definitely be a stop for us everytime we come. UPDATE 9-17-22: Guess what? Food is still just as good as the 1st time, 2nd, 3rd,etc. Jordan the server was awesome. When we’re in the area, we always stop.

In an attempt to try all the places recently listed in the NBC Watertown “best wings”, our travels took us to Clayton and the Island Bay Pier. Plenty of parking, nice clean bathrooms and a good ambiance. Our server was very attentive to us with a great sense of humour.
With nothing standing out as particularly spicy, we went with the house recommendation of the “Sweet Heat” which was honey, sriracha and spices. For 20 wings, we were surprised at how quick they came out of the kitchen. Tremendous aroma of honey and spice. Very, dare I say, attractive wings.
First bites were that of the delicious sticky sauce and plump, juicy white chicken. The flats were done very well, whereas my “complaints” would lie with the drums. Almost too big for the their own good, they could have used a couple more minutes in the frier. Could also have done with much more heat; habanero or ghost pepper minimum level to pair with the sweetness, but that is a personal preference.
Also must give props for the 6/12 portion options which you don’t see enough in this area, though we opted for the 20/$20 deal which was very sufficient. All in all I’d say this was a great deal for your money, and a nice change from the bulk frozen wings you get at many places these days.
