Love their chicken. Some of the best fried chicken. Love the breast meat. The potato wedges are great too. So yummy and so affordable. But it’s a grab and good spot. Take out. Very friendly older man took care of my order. Very helpful and friendly.

They have 30 ghost kitchens at this location, and they’ll charge you $25 for something that looks luxurious in the picture but they send you garbage.
Out of curiosity, I stopped by to see the place that scammed me. Now that I’ve been here in person I can see why they send you garbage; this is one of the most disgusting businesses I have ever had the displeasure of stepping foot in. Bit of a disappointment, Chicken quesadillas are hard to not do well but dried chicken does impact the flavor. Worse than the quesadilla was the mozzarella sticks. They were so overdone that there was no cheese actually in them, please see photos for verification.

Solid fried chicken with hefty serving size. The 3 piece thigh special with rice was only $8! The man at the counter provided recommendations not only for today, but for next visit as well. Wait time is also under 5 minutes.

It’s been years since I’d visited the original PC. The chicken was still good and hot. The potato wedges were still hit and miss. Some were crispy on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. Sadly some potato wedges weren’t cooked completely, while crispy outside they were hard in the center. Nothing has changed. LOL. I will continue to eat there just not as often.

I’ve lived in the area for 26 years. Love Sams chicken off French St., and Picken Chicken has always been the 2nd best. Most new brunswick residents would agree. Unfortunately, they have Burnt my sandwiches(Chicken parm, Fat Sam, Chicken Parm) now 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and all I get is an “I’m sorry, we have a new cook.” This last time I simply asked for my money back and the cashier, whom doesn’t even really know english(luckily I know spanish, cuz I am) said(translating) “You should just eat it because you have done so in the past drunk, but now that you’re sober you complain about some burnt marks.” I was very offended by this because I’ve been working on my sobriety and have been for almost 9 months now and really thought he was a neighborhood friend. I’ve gone there literally at least once a week. Sometimes up to 3 times a week, but not anymore. I Filed a complaint and posted the video of the full interaction with the cashier of Picken Chicken on my FB, IG, and youtube account if anyone would like to see. If anyone else has had these issues, please let the owner and Goggle reviews know. I’m sure it’ll help him. I hope the owner reconsiders his staff and notices the business he’s losing.

The place looks like it needs to be inspected based on how filthy the dining area and bathroom is. Also the cashier has absolutely no respect when talking to people, the person in question is in the picture. Avoid this person as much as possible because he does not know how to speak to people
*I had to go back into the store because support said they talked to him and I would be able to deliver what I was sent their to do. So the reason this guy was mad at me was because I didn’t say hi to him back when I arrived at the store. Which I didn’t even hear him say to me because I had earbuds on.
Store owner or whoever is looking at the reviews, please let upload the entire interaction un edited so peaple can see how un professional you guys handle yourselves in this establishment, please
