We learned about Beautiful Rind from a local news feature and we’re so glad we did! We stopped by and were impressed by the goat cheese with a caramel, soy sauce, rosemary dip that the server proactively made to go with our coffee. We signed up on the spot for a cheese and chocolate pairing class! Randall was amazing and we both learned so much and definitely enjoyed the cheese and chocolate pairings. They even had options for low/non-alcoholic pairings which is not common and worked out well for us. We highly recommend this event and look forward to joining other events in the future.

A great gem for a guided cheese tasting. The $75/person 2025 winter cheese tasting menu was surprisingly filling—cheese adds up fast—and they offer unlimited bread and crackers. Everything felt thoughtful and elegant, and the staff did a great job explaining each selection and pairing. Favorites: the Goat Garrotxa, Water Buffalo Buf Mozzarella, and Cow Brie Fermier. Would love to come back and do a wine pairing next time.

Wonderful lunch with fiends at beautiful rind. We had a group rez for 5 and ordered All the Meats & Cheeses. It was a perfect amount of food for our group. The server explained the items and recommended pairings. It was all delicious…. even the highly suspicious blue cheese and chocolate!! Plan to return and would also recommend to stop by for To-go foods and wines.

Beautiful Rind is a favorite for everyone we know! I’ve done a couple of cheese classes and love getting to learn about the making and science of cheese (what makes each one so unique) while also getting to try new cheeses that I maybe never would have considered. Randall does a great job of making sure we leave educated and full of wonderful cheeses, all that they have in stock! You can add the charcuterie/wine tastings ahead of time or just get a chilled bottle/accoutrements when you get there.
Beautiful Rind is also the perfect place to meet up with friends or bring out-of-towners just to pop in midday for a cheese board (the best in the city and very reasonable), or run in and grab some stuff to make a board of your own at home. It’s such a special spot, with a team that loves the neighborhood that supports them the same way they love the cheese makers who create such awesome products. It’s a place we are always excited to spend our money.

Love this little spot! Had this place bookmarked for a while and I’m so upset I haven’t tried it earlier! This is the perfect spot for a quaint date night or meetup with friends or family. There was a separate room for private events as well.
The place has a small bodega type section with a variety of wine, meats, crackers, tinned fish, etc. There’s also a cheese counter that has a vast selection of cheeses. I finally got to try the award winning Pleasant Ridge Reserve! It’s also a cute restaurant with a menu comprised of cheesemonger curated charcuterie boards, appetizers, sides and sandwiches.
We got the Meats & 3 Cheeses board that has meats, cheeses and accompaniments chosen by their cheesemonger. So yummy. We also got the burrata salad and some cocktails. Salad was fresh and the cocktails were delish. After our meal we needed caffeine so we got the cold brew and matcha green tea. The matcha came with an adorable mini cat pitcher filled with oatmilk
Service was great and so helpful answering all our cheese questions. Great experience and highly recommend!

So delightful. We have the charcuterie and cheese platter and it did not disappoint. 5 Of us had our fill and sent us home with leftovers. Great wine selection and really unique choices.

Me and my partner came here with plans to get a cheese plate and some drinks as a little snack/treat before making a nice dinner at home. The portions were so generous that we left without room to even think about dessert! Wonderful service, everything was delicious, definitely going to become a regular visit for us! And THAT PIMENTO CHEESE!

An absolute GEM in the neighborhood. This place has been on my list for a while, and I finally stepped in for lunch. The sandwich/salad menu is on the small side, but everything looked great and very reasonably priced. The option for a side salad that isn’t your basic garden salad (spring mix, cucumber, carrot, tomato) was a big plus. Even better was that the arugula salad was incredibly delicious and the dressing tasted like it was freshly made.
My partner and I split the TBB and Pimento/Okra sandwiches. The Pimento/Okra was small but MIGHTY in flavor. Coming from the south, we have a high bar, and The Beautiful Rind surpassed it. We may come back just to buy a tub of their pimento cheese. The TBB blew me away with the cranberry mayo and bacon jam. Incredible flavor.
I love the versatility of the shop. Perfect for stopping in for a light meal, grabbing a drink, splitting a charcuterie board while you catch up with friends, or shopping from a beautifully curated selection of cheese, wine, nuts, chocolate, tinned fish, etc!
The size/shape of the space does allow voices to carry, and it was a little loud with what seemed to be a large group (having a great time) in an adjacent room, but that’s hardly a complaint, and more just something to be aware of if noise is something that affects you.
I can’t wait to come back!

Event was ran by a certified cheese professional, Anna, who gave the perfect balance of teaching us our pairings as well as letting us talk to our table. Very fun night and excited to attend another one!

5 star experience!! Would definitely recommend for all those cheese lovers. We enjoyed a queity Sat afternoon here with a variety of products. The grilled cheese and soup, the fired up cheese, raclette hot dog, and the cheese board (filled with crowd pleasing flavors). It was very quiet, open and clean and we saw lots of people come in and out to get their cheese, wine bread and chocolate. We’ll be back!!
