Wish I can give 10 stars for food and service!
On this very cold supposed to get snow day, I wanted to trek to Norfolk to try Ann Thai. Drive to this place twice before: once unexpectedly closed (emergency?) and then they’re not open on Mondays!
The reviews rave about khao soi beef noodle soup. It was ready in 10 minutes less. Smells so good! And the owner came out to serve, took a picture of her creation and even asked if I wanted hot water!!! Such wonderful personal service.
And I had the pleasure of meeting Ann, the very friendly and warm owner. She offered hot water and a little bit of Iced Thai tea. She shared that she opened a year ago and that within a few months her restaurant has earned accolades as best restaurant in Norfolk in 2025. I can see why! The food here is delicious! I definitely have found the best Thai restaurant. Everyone needs to come to try this restaurant. Trust me you will thank me later

Absolutely amazing Thai food! The green tea was incredible, even better than the classic Thai tea with a lovely earthy, vanilla flavor. We ordered the green curry and the chicken curry noodle soup, both phenomenal with perfectly balanced seasoning.
Ann also let us try a new chicken pastry she had just introduced, it was flaky with a delicious filling. We grabbed some chicken samosas to go, and they turned out to be even more flavorful! The portions were generous, definitely more than enough for one sitting.
The meal came to about $25 per person, including drinks, which felt totally worth it. Ann herself came out to chat with us, and she was so kind and welcoming. You can tell she really cares about her food and her customers. Highly recommend!

We love Thai food. We travel a ton, so we always explore Thai restaurants. First of all, we arrived very near closing, but they could not have been more gracious and welcoming. This is a family run business and they made us feel like a part of their family. In addition to the items we ordered, they even brought us a couple of their favorites to try for no charge. Above and beyond!
We had wings, spring rolls, beef drunken noodles….and the complimentary crab rangoons and Thai tea and coffee.
Everything was cooked to perfection. Hot, super fresh, and flavorful. It was SO good that we ordered three additional entrees to go and enjoy at home.
We highly recommend this place. You can taste the LOVE in everything they serve.

We stopped by a random restaurant just to grab something to eat, and suddenly found ourselves in an incredible place where high-quality food and true chef craftsmanship come together with warm hospitality, coziness, and the genuinely welcoming spirit of the owners.
The THAI CRAB OMELETTE is absolutely outstanding, it was truly unforgettable!!
A perfect balance of flavors, cooked with so much care and skill that you can taste the love in every bite.
This place is a real hidden gem. We’ll definitely be stopping here every time we pass through Norfolk, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends so they don’t miss the chance to try this amazing food.

What an incredible experience! Easily the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time.
The Tom Yum soup was absolutely delicious, full of depth, rich with lemongrass and galangal, and with just the right amount of tanginess. The Pad Kra Pow was fantastic too, perfectly balanced with those classic notes of fish sauce, garlic, and chili.
The owners were super welcoming and kind, providing the kind of warm, genuine service that makes you feel like you’ve been invited into their home.

The owner is fantastic and very caring when it comes to the customers and food she makes. T was my server and we had fun conversations about our time in the service so I honestly feel like that was already a great start. However, the food was just AMAZING, so good in fact that I will be returning for the SAAP wings everytime I am in port. Genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in my life and with the free thai tea and rice given to me it just made this a 100/10. Please please PLEASE support this restaurant because the food and people here are amazing

The service and food was phenomenal! The staff was so friendly and the Pad Thai was really great. I’ve eaten a lot of different Pad Thai from different places, and this was one of the best I’ve ever had! I especially loved the Green Thai Tea, it was so creamy and yummy! I ate here while visiting, and I’ll have to come back just to eat here again!
