I ate the first taco and my immediate first impression was, it was soooo dry I thought I was eating a Popeyes biscuit. As I swollowed, i realized if didn’t get water most expeditiously that taco wasn’t going down on its own. If I hadn’t gotten water I wouldve never been able to write this review. Anyways, 2 stars. Apparently they don’t even read the orders when they come in. Ordered a burrito bowl and just got a burrito. Paid almost $5 extra for guacamole. Didn’t get it. Burrito was so overly smothered in jalapeños and sooooo dry, that it was barely edible. Also got loaded tacos and same, so dry, I could barely eat them. Terrible food and feeling totally ripped off because they don’t care enough to give you what you ordered.

I went on a Taco Tuesday and I got $2 carne asada tacos (they call it steak fajita) with the salsa verde. I didn’t expect that it will taste authentic. It reminded me of the tacos I had in Mexico. If you want a real taco joint, hit this place up. Your authentic taco cravings will get satisfied for the right price. I am really grateful!

Taco Tuesday was an excellent deal, $2 tacos. Ingredients were delicious, green salsa was just right and the speed of creation was incredible. I went back for a brekky burrito (2 tacos weren’t quite enough thus morning) and was not disappointed. Will definitely by going back.

Best deal : 3 Barbacoa tacos for $6.97. Can’t beat that! Not much space to wait or order inside. Gas station but They have a nice seating area outside. if you like watching cars get washed, you’ll be entertained.

Coming from Chicago where taco joints are everywhere and are always on point- I have to say that the tacos from Dos Tacos were pretty good and close to the tacos that I could get in Chicago! The meat was well seasoned, the street corn was delicious, the rice was really on point and the green salsa was life!!! (Spicy- para los que no aguantan)
If you are looking for authentic tacos- this is most definitely the place to check out!
Be prepared- because to order you must go inside the gas station and it’s a very small setup but as soon as you walk in you will see it. They have an outdoor patio with tons of seating.
As far as pricing, it is super reasonable! The taco platter (3 tacos and 2 sides) was $10!!! They have tons more options- not just tacos FYI.
