This restaurant is a hidden gem. Every time I enter the restaurant the gentleman always greets and asked how can I help. The service and the food is excellent it’s fresh and you always get service with a smile. I highly recommend eating here if your looking for some island cuisine.

I ordered 2 medium ackee & salt fish for breakfast, for $20 each and all I tasted was oil, no seasoning one of the worst I’ve ever eaten.

We got the curry goat and curry chicken to go. When we went to eat it we found that both were extremely undercooked – some of the chicken was raw. Really glad none of us got sick.

I love seashore the food is always good and the owner Eddy is the best. He always looks out. Especially when me and my man go for drinks he always has good music and good vibes. I love their hospitality.
Eddy is a good person and his place of business is always clean..
Thanks Eddy..

Great Food! Warm and friendly staff! They suggested parking in the lot across the street if you plan on eating in. The place was busy with takeout orders while we were there. The jerk chicken and curry chicken meals were wonderful. Great prices for the amount of food they serve. So glad we found this place. We will definitely be back.

Food was bland. They didnt have much of anything listed on the menu. Got the jerk chicken and it was terrible. Bone in every bite of rice. Worst jamaican restaurant ive ever been to.

This is one of the best restaurants in Hartford and CT for that matter. I have been going there for quite some time and I can tell you one thing. There is no sugar used to make their food taste so sweet. Only good old fashion Jamaican down home cooking.
They have recently upgraded the place and now have happy hour and a little get together room separated from the small dining area. This restaurant has also been called Ed’s due to the owner name. Seashore has some of the friendliest warmest staff. They are quick and curious and humorous.
I have also witness so much kindness from this magnificent team of people who have put pride and culture back into fast food off Albany Ave.
Don’t leave without trying there amazing oxtail. It’s to die for!!!!!
Sincerely faithful customer,

We ordered curry chicken with white rice. An elderly lady in front of me was upset. She ordered white rice, they gave her rice and peas. The guy behind the counter said ” No you didn’t. If you want white rice you have to get order another. That bothered me. My order was correct but the rice was oily and the chicken was skimpy. It’s to bad. I just moved to the area but i will not go here again.
