If you’re traveling to Ocean City Maryland on rt 50 you drive past here every time you do. And if you’re like me you’re either anxious to O.C. or anxious to get home? Do yourself a favor and stop. The prices are more than reasonable and the food excellent. We’ve never stopped here before but we will from now on. We stopped for lunch and we enjoyed the food so much we ate for over an hour and a half just the two of us! Great food, great soups, great specials AND great service. MOST important we watched as they covid cleaned every seat, table and everything touched by the last guest. We sure felt safer eating here than some of the places we saw in O. C. This is absolutely a hidden gem that you probably didn’t even know existed!

Food is good and store is nice and clean, plus it has nice warm and friendly atmosphere. You should make this one of your stops you will not regret it. Great crab cake sandwich and chicken salad is to die for. Fresh fried up chicken also. If you liked Englishs fried chicken you will like theirs also.

This is the best produce stand I have found on route 50 coming back from the beach (Ocean City, MD).
I find the staff to be courteous and friendly. The peaches are my to-go to from them. The prices are extremely reasonable & peaches have been delicious. Their other produce was very good as well (just don’t confuse it with the produce stand with a similar name on the other side of route 50. I thought they were related and although it’s a nice produce stand, I found the prices to be crazy high. They aren’t related).
I love that they have a little diner with sandwiches (which I’ve gotten for my car ride home). They also have Maryland classic Smith Island cake inside that you can order by the slice. Very excited about that! I’ll have to try that next!

I love cute little shops that give you a country vibe. I was excited to stop in and have lunch on my ride home. Well my excitement was dampened when they gave my sandwich to another guest then tried to take it back and git it to me. I enjoyed the home made chip the slight burnt flavor was not bad they came with my son’s sandwich. The service was really friendly. But I never got my own sandwich.

Loved this spot. Stopped here on the way to Chincoteague for a vacation. It’s a pretty spot on the side of the highway with reasonably priced produce and food. Nice short menu with high quality items and friendly staff. Portion sizes were really good too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite on their way to the island. Wish I’d tried their bread pudding, that looked amazing.

Such a quaint little eastern shore restaurant. A must stop on your way back from OC. The Smith Island Cakes are AMAZING. We had the coconut and red velvet and I recommend both. I had the shrimp tacos for lunch which were super tasty. Will definitely come again.
