Had a nice meal at Zumuku recently. The food was very nice, especially the katsu curry. Plenty of options with sushi, curry, noodles etc. Only disappointment was that we had booked online and it said we had 20% off. Whilst we were dining this slipped our mind and we did not get any discount. We should have asked but it would have been appreciated if the staff had noticed this on the booking. The service was a bit slow (although it was a busy evening so that’s okay), they did have a lot of delivery orders so it’s rightly very popular!

I’ve been living in the UK for 4 years now, and this is the first time I’ve tried this ramen shop — absolutely incredible! As someone who has lived in Asia all my life and travels to Japan more than five times a year, I have to say this ramen truly impressed me. The broth was rich and perfectly balanced, the noodles had the right texture, and the toppings were fresh and authentic.
Easily a 10/10 — one of the best ramen experiences I’ve had in the UK. Highly recommended for anyone craving real, authentic Japanese ramen!

I ordered shahan with salmon (the one on the left), the food was nice, but looking at the small portion size I’d say it’s overpriced at £12.5, also I couldn’t see any fish so I asked and they took it back and said they’ll make me a new one with the salmon. The person with me advised me to order this cause they had tried it a few months earlier, then when the dish was ready they told me it’s definitely smaller now. I ordered lime with carbonated water and unfortunately it had a few drops of lime and barely any gas, it felt like drinking tap water with the smell of lime and no gas for £2.5, the fizzy drink is an important part of the meal for me and it disappointed me a lot, the food was nice but not enough, I left hungry, sorry not coming back

Food and service always on point! Servers are very accommodating. We really liked the teriyaki chicken wings. The sharing platter says it’s good for 2 but it was enough for the 4 of us! We also ordered the beef bao buns and chicken katsu curry. One of the owners also gave us a complimentary grilled salmon maki which was very very nice! Definitely 5/5!

Great addition to Sale town centre I’ve been here multiple times but with great service and great food this place is a staple of Sales ever improving food seen…..particularly good offer on a Monday Tuesday £10 for ramen or sushi at lunch and when it’s baking sun you can’t ask for much more than this and a cheeky pint outside ….loving life

The food was great and would recommend the food only.
Negatives.
We weren’t greeted when we entered. Went to the bar and bartender was pretty abrupt and disinterested.
Seated at the very back next to the wall which was disgustingly dirty. Food splashed up it and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time.
Drinks took ages to be served despite it being fairly quiet.
Being at the back next to the kitchen we had someone behind us constantly bagging up takeaway orders.
Great food. Not great service.

The atmosphere was so pretty with peaceful music playing in the background, service is absolutely fantastic i ordered and whithin 5 minutes my food was here!, the food tasted so so yummy i recommend the miso ramen it filled me up i couldn’t even eat more if i wanted to lol!! Very very tasty

The long-awaited Zumuku Sushi Sale is not only available for takeaway , but also for dine-in. Especially like the dish called Tataki. The beef is cooked just right in pink and tender, seasoned with a super delicious secret sauce. highly recommended! Feel their passion for food and care about customer’s feedback. Will definitely be back and recommend to groups of friends.
