What a first time find for us- love West Jefferson and been many times- but this was an amazing family- feel diner with the best Roasted red pepper soup I’ve ever tasted! Had to take some home. Also tried the chicken quesadilla and it was splendid! What a great vibe in here!!

Cozy spot to grab lunch in West Jefferson! Prices are extremely reasonable. Sandwiches were fine, the soups were phenomenal and freshly made. The chicken noodle soup and tomato soup were incredible…only downside is they can be a bit slow (20-30minute wait is even printed at the bottom of their menu) so be prepared to wait a bit.

I absolutely LOVE this little hole in the wall cafe in WJ. They are so friendly and nice. The food is ever so amazing. I always get the Downtown sandwich with no tomato (ham, bacon and Swiss) with their famous RED PEPPER SOUP!!

Honestly, best food in West Jefferson. We came here 2 out of 4 days we were here. The soup was amazing, the sandwiches were amazing, desserts were amazing, and staff was even more amazing! This was my first time in West Jefferson and this place reminded me of Luke’s Diner in Gilmore Girls. It’s also a lot cheaper than Panera!

A great little lunch spot in downtown Jefferson. The red pepper soup is amazing! The sandwhiches are also delicious. We ordered the Uptown, the Cowboy Classic, the Twisted Italian, and the Mushroom Melt. All were so good. And the service was also great. We will be back!

While walking around downtown West Jefferson, we passed by and decided to get a bite to eat. If you come here do yourself a favor, get the roasted red pepper soup. Great flavor, and a great place to stop for lunch.

My family and I have been going here for years and years. If you’re not getting the roasted red pepper soup, then you are missing out! I also love the atmosphere because it’s not an over stimulating environment. It’s simple and happy and the tv they have is off so it’s great for my toddler who receives minimal screen time. This is a hard working family and we love their service to our small but growing mountain community.
