I was craving some Korean street food and made the genius decision to try Moon’s Kitchen out. We had their tteokbokki and added gimmari (seafood roll), spicy tuna mayo cupbap, and tonkatsu. Everything was seasoned well and the tonkatsu was so crunchy and juicy. The tteokbokki was tasty but the rice cakes were a touch over done. Otherwise, it was the exact flavor I hoped for. The vibes hit the spot as well, with the lively and fun music playing. The staff were all friendly and service was quick. I look forward to going back and trying more things!

The food was exceptional delicious and nice portions. The menu options is offered lots of variety so a little of everything from kids friendly to elderly especially if you want to explore the Korean Street Food and snacks this is definitely a place to try. I really enjoyed the Dalgona coffee with the homemade in house honeycomb toffee after my full meal. I will definitely make this place my regular with my friends as a mini get together. Also the entire staff and owner is super sweet.

It’s a so-so place overall, but they do have some solid Korean hot dishes that are comforting and filling. The katsu was good and probably my favorite thing I tried. Service was good, and the staff were nice and friendly, which made the experience better. It’s an okay place to try if you’re in the area and want Korean comfort food.

My friend introduced me to this place and I instantly fell in love. The Korean street food is so well-made and tasty! I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order from here. Their tonkatsu and tteokbokki are my favorite! I don’t usually like tteokbokki but here they made it so pillowy soft and flavorful!
I’ve also had other things on their menu that I didn’t take photos of: oden tang and spicy jjeolmyeon. Both are also good.
Will definitely be returning back 🙂

Great food, easy parking, and kind staff!
• The Food: Tried the Brisket Tteok-bokki, fried seaweed rolls, and squid. As a tteok-bokki lover, the taste was spot on. Portion size was perfect for two light eaters ($23 total).
• The Drinks: The Dalgona and Strawberry Matcha lattes were good. Pro tip: Stir the Dalgona latte well before you drink!
• The Vibe: Plenty of seating and hassle-free parking, even on a busy Saturday.
• The Service: Very attentive and friendly.
I’d prefer flour tteok (밀떡) -it’s not an option but the rice cakes were still good. Highly recommend!

The food here is amazing! The best chicken katsu is a must have. I would highly suggest ordering 1 curry sauce to share. They also have free yellow dicon radish. The staff are so kind! They My significant other and our friends have gone here at least 4x. It’s so good! I loved trying the ramen the first time I went there too. The honeydew smoothie and pear smoothies are both good. Please note that the menu is only by scanning a bar code except for the drink menu which is posted.

Been frequenting this place lately and has easily been my go to place during weekday work lunch! Their bulgogi gimbaps are well stuffed with all the filling to rice ratio and has great lunch options for reasonable prices. On a rainy day my go to is Moon’s udon with a bulgogi add on– the torched bulgogi adds a nice smoky touch. The service has always been consistently great from the quiet and efficient young lady to the friendly and attentive young man. For those who like soju the nights are slow but peaceful– great for peaceful night out. Definitely am still frequenting!

Went in expecting to get kimbap, ended up ordering the udon (and added bulgogi) because it was chilly today. The udon was great, but now I really wanna come back to try their other options. It doesn’t look like they have standard bibimbap but they do have cupbap. Cozy little casual spot, adding to my favorites 🙂

We visited Moons kitchen at the end of our exploration in Tacoma. It definitely is a high note for the end our day. It’s a cozy sweet shop located in a Korean food plaza. It serves authentic Korean street foods, there are rice cakes, kimbap, udon, curry over rice, and more. Everything is super delicious! And the staffs are very friendly and welcoming too. Will definitely return and highly recommend to everyone!
