My husband and I stopped at The Focaccia Bakery on our way to my ultrasound appointment, and we were so pleased with the food and the service! The owner, Mario, was incredibly kind and even took a moment to thank my husband, Carson, after he told him how much we loved everything.
We can honestly say we’ll be making the drive from Crosby to Kingwood just to eat here again. It’s exactly what a pregnant momma needs before an appointment – mom, baby, and daddy were all happy!
You’ve got to make the stop at this hidden gem (and I mean literally hidden — it’s connected to a gas station, but don’t let that stop you!). So worth it!

Just ordered through DoorDash. Had the focaccia club and this sandwich is delicious!! I ordered exactly how they make it no customizations. And it’s so flavorful!! Highly recommend! Half is already missing in this picture lol. Will definitely order again and hopefully go visit in person soon.

The guy at the cashier was really friendly and gave us free samples. The sandwiches were really good, especially toasted. They gave us a free cookie which are baked fresh. 10/10 would recommend for a bite to eat. They also sell pizzas that they bake in the moment.

Don’t let the outside fool you. It may be a gas station that doesn’t sell gas lol but man the sandwiches are absolutely AWESOME . I haven’t had a sandwich this good in years. Simply phenomenal. Their bread is daily fresh. The guy at the counter was so nice and handsome too. Definitely a great little sandwich shop.

Dec 30 2025 I’m NOT very hungry but we each order a ham sandwich with everything on it, but onions, mine toasted his not… Victor brings them out and we enter the glorious realm where the excellent things are! Men don’t have to describe deliciousness in words we just make sounds which I don’t know how to spell! Still NOT hungry we order another! Victor brings them out and the next is just as amazing as the first!
Now my daughter is a culinary school graduate and she makes amazing foods and has worked in 5 star restaurants serving incredible foods with high prices.
Focaccia Bakery right off I69/59 has 5 star restaurant quality for a regular price.
I apologize for my simple vocabulary that I can NOT describe how amazing these sandwiches are. So I will stop & challenge you to do a better job of describing just how good they really are, I double dog dare you!

Had a random craving for Focaccia and found this hidden gem via a Google Maps search. Wow, my wife and two kids were seriously impressed. This unassuming location serves the most amazing sandwiches and we were told pizzas soon , The Focaccia bread is Masterful. You can tell they use High Quality and Fresh Ingredients. And they offer generous portions at a reasonable price point. Also the people working were so friendly, making recommendations and offering samples.. They made an impression on us and we can’t wait to go back!

I have ordered from this restaurant twice and tried to order again from them tonight. Their hours on doordash and uber eats are not accurate. The hours are not correct. They claim to be open early morning and late evening but that is not the case. I was wanting to order from them but was unsure about the times. So wanting to make sure they were open i called them. No one answered. But they did txt me from the same number soon after. Whoever txt me back was rude. They told me yes we close at a certain time lol, try again tomorrow. I really enjoy these sandwiches and would continue to be a patron. I wish I would have been treated nicer. Idk the reason for the lol and not giving me more info but I ended up ordering from subway.

Every review about this place is true and real. I wish I could give 100/5 stars. Immediately created by a warm and happy tone and met with a sample of focaccia after mentioning it was our first there. I ordered the club, and after receiving my food, I showed interest in the loaves behind him (reading they are so worth getting).
To my surprise, he took a to-go box and handed me a loaf. For free. I wanted to cry, because earlier that day, unbeknownst to him, I had just gotten in a car accident. My day was suddenly made so much brighter and better thanks to the kindness of this small, family owned shop.
I will always stop at family owned places before chains when traveling, and I have so much respect for people who work to share their recipes, foods, and traditions with the world. This is now a forever-stop when passing through Kingwood.
