The Vietnamese iced coffee is ok, not the best I’ve had but not the worst. At $6.50 it is on the higher price side.
The combination pho has excellent broth and a ton of meat.
My wife ordered a noodle dish that included crispy fried onions, and the onions were soft and soggy. Otherwise a delicious dish with a tasty fish sauce dressing.
We paid $60+ for one drink, one app, and two entrees including tax and tip. One of the most expensive Vietnamese restaurants we’ve eaten at outside of major metropolitan areas. The flavors are great but a few minor missteps and high prices contribute to a 4 star review.
Portion size for the large pho ($16) is pitifully small. It looks more like a medium. Extra noodles is 2.50 and also very small portion.
Broth taste fine. Wayyy too overpriced for what it is. Mediocre but could be great.
Just toss a few more noodles in the bowl gosh darnit!
Update: It’s been about 2 years since my last visit. This time, pho was great. Wasn’t overly sweet, just right. However, I wish servers were a bit more attentive. It’s been a long time since I worked as a server, but I’d at least ask how everything is a few minutes after food comes out. The asian lady with a nose piercing at the bar counter, if you are seeing this review, I dont know if you are the owner or the daughter of someone who actually owns the restaurant, if you’re going to be on your phone the entire time, you’re not setting a good example for your staffs. If you’re going to do that, it’s probably best for everyone for you to stay in the back instead.
